So last weekend, Centran and I got a test rust server going and it was working fine. Garry finally decided to start supporting the linux server build so it gives us the opportunity to start a server if there is interest within the clan.
 
If we do start the server would you prefer it to be non modified or modded? And if modded what mods should we look into. (There are two catergories for both non modded and modded servers with in the server browser)
 
I also have no idea how many players we can realistically support before we start having performance issues so I guess it would just have to be a trial and error thing.

There is something here that I'd like for LVL4/SO's+ although he asked about it going the wrong way.
 
Do we have anything in the works that would mute all cts/players except for the one targeted?
 
E.g. !mutects Frosty -> would mute all the cts except Frosty, allowing him to give orders.

I'm done. All of this that I did was the fucking worst idea ever. I was mean rude and racist. But there is just a point when you have to end all of it and that's here, I burred every bridge into any thing to do with sG. So this is it im sorry for all of the shit I caused, first i wanna say sorry to Ollie. Ollie i said a lot of shit that was dumb mean and racist, and i deserved everything you said about me, also im sorry that every one calls you a Britt now in sG. I also want to say sorry to all of the head admins/advisers who helped me get to this point were i know that all of the shit that i did was stupid and repulsive but especially Jeff and Vege. Jeff was the only staff who would really talk to me about what was happening and not just freak out like most other people would have. Also Vege for helping me really understand the stupidity of what i was doing.
 
But i have to say sorry to the Two admins whom i caused the most shit to, Totes and cows. Cows i'm sorry for the way that i behaved, and how i called you Totes's bitch. You were just a guy on the internet who wanted to better know someone personally. Also i want to thank you for helping me to get my feet on the ground, and helped gain a new friend ship over the internet. Even tho you hate me know I just remember the good times we had playing comp and playing on JB together, and also I really want to thank you for all of the chances you gave me. You gave me way to many chances and im grateful for that. but I really want to just say im sorry for all of the shit I put you through.
 
Totes. I just want to say that i fucked things up between us so badly, and i wish i wouldn't have. But i know every thing i said can not be taken back at this point. We became friends when I would always help TCU try to free kill you,  and after that we just started to play almost every day together. But I want to say that I am sorry for everything I put you through, weather it was calling you those names or saying very hurtful things, especially now tho because you told me about all of the things you where going through during that week, when every thing got crazy. But I wanna say thank you for all of the great times i had playing sG game modes with you, and even playing comp games. It was the most fun I had ever had playing video games before, and i thank you for all of the great times.

Not a driver yet, but i'm in the process of doing a frame-off resto on the monster carlo. Oh, don't think I told anyone, but I'm renting a house now and it has a garage. (garage is my cave) 
 
I have the front clip removed from the car in the pictures, but since I took those I pulled the a/c-heater box off of the firewall and removed all of the car's interior and wiring. I'm in the process of removing the brake master cylinder and booster now. I plan to unbolt the body from the frame, then jack it up and roll frame out from under. Next would be to remove rust and debris from the frame with a pressure washer, sanding and a wire wheel then pick up some chassis saver paint. Youtube video on chassis saver. After that, i'll rip out all the brake and fuel lines and replace them with stainless steel. After that i'd probably tackle front control arms, then put the body back on. When the body is secured to the frame i'll cut the floor out in pieces (rusted through in places) then weld in new sections. Last things would be to throw her all back together and prep for paint and drivetrain.
 

Started thinking about the idea of a bartering system for rust. We could create a subforum or a big thread for bartering ads where users could post wanted or for trade ads and possibly schedule meet-ups in game to proceed with it, or so they can discuss it on steam to keep the scheduled meet-up time and place private. The poster would add [Trade], [Wanted] or [Free] to the title of their thread/post. Got an item you don't want, but you also need resources? [Trade] it for resources. Got a base you don't use? Give it away in a [Free] ad, or [Trade] it for weapon(s) or resources. Looking for a weapon, resource or etc? Post a [Wanted] ad.
 
And of course abuse of the system (scheduling a meet-up, then killing the other player and raiding their shit or baiting them in to a trap.. use your imagination) will lead to the player being blacklisted from using it. Either that or all players must apply to be whitelisted to use the system from the get-go.

Like I have mentioned in one of Papyrus's topics, I was thinking about some commands in-game.
 
Here are some that I have been thinking of: 
 
!warden: Yes I know this is already a command, but what if rather than just giving it to the first person who got it, then allowing other people to spam/bind the command, it creates a queue of people based by join time after the first person types in the command, the warden can not be taken after it is already received by the person on the queue list, unless they pass it. If someone decides to leave the CT side they are removed from the list and the list moves up.
!pass: Creates a dropdown list to choose from to pass on the warden, or it passes on the warden to the next person on the warden queue list.
!mr: A request to an admin, SO, ect. to mute the CT's besides warden for 10 seconds.
!lr: Creates a dropdown menu of lr's, once the T has chosen one, the vote on an admins screen and wardens screen will appear calling for y or n.
!sid @: (Steam ID @) When typing in this command, you type a name of someone in game after the @ symbol, popping up someone's Steam ID.
!repeat: Makes a note on the wardens screen saying, "Please repeat your orders."
!votect: Say if there wasn't an admin online or an SO, and someone was abusing CT, a vote takes place and if 80-90% of the players accept, it CT's that person for X amount of rounds automatically.

if you ignore them on the forums it blocks the posts and shouts... and that's not the default shoutbox size. It's hardly the communitys fault if you want your shoutbox scaled up and can't read the rules before posting... 
 
What we should do is make an automated thread template pop up that won't allow you to post it if you don't have atleast your steam id and reason and stuff filled in. You know like a macro that auto fills the complaint thread

Edit: same thing with the app voting. You could have a poll and show the highest rep upvote reason and highest rep downvote reason.

I wish this paidmen would do something useful instead of typing @HACKER - Next time if you want them banned you should 1. Record a demo. 2. Tell other people (using admin only chat) to get other people to spectate him and get their opinion . LETTING THE HACKER KNOW YOU're onto him would probably make him stop hacking or leave, making you not able to get evidence
