Cman definitely isn't in the wrong here. Totes merely said she was on her way to the church with mats. This does not mean that
 
1. She isn't going to kill anyone on the way.
2. Cman knew it was her until he shot her.
 
Even if it was against our server rules to kill her at this time, there simply is no way of knowing who someone is ingame unless you are standing literally right next to them. We're expecting Cman to not shoot any anyone in the vicinity until he runs up to their face -- in any and all situations, that'll get you killed in Rust. The one scenario where Cman's actions would be questionable is if he downed her, took her shit, then killed her as her character was screaming. Even then, it's simply Rust: if you don't kill someone to take their stuff then the next person they meet will. It's hard for me to criticize Centran for his actions since I don't know his experience with the game but Rust is savage AF,
 
precisely describes what the game is and how people play it. If there wasn't protection during the wedding, it guaranteed would've ended much sooner than that. God-moding like that to kill a player was definitely abuse.
 
We didn't handle the event as best as we could tbh: I'm assuming a no-kill-zone was created for the duration of the wedding. If we were going to use admin commands anyways, why not simply spawn items and create the church like that? I wouldn't find that abuse at all if it was for an event; it would've at least have been a better answer to Totes' death over noclip-godmoding a player. ily centran

CRASHES
Help me figure out this crash
It has something to do with gun mechanics (disarm, blocking fire, ammo effects, etc.). It is not related to a single race but it is a mechanic on multiple races. It is not Glacius (we crashed twice while I had him disabled completely).
If you are there for a crash, please PM me on steam or the forums with any notable details. When it happened (before the round ended, right when it started, mid round, etc), anything that happened right before or right when the game crashed (e.g. polymorph, maybe a polymorphed player died, maybe someone died to something then respawned, etc).
This one looks tough and it is crashing us a lot so your help is appreciated.

RACE CHANGES
Soul Reaper's ult range is now ~8% shorter and the viewcone to target enemies with it is ~50% smaller (it was really freaking big before).
Elemental now spawns with his ultimate toggled on. It can still be toggled off and on with +ultimate.
Ruthless Mercenary invis has been altered slightly to reduce the occurrence of weird flickering
 
 
GAMEME
Messages are now turned off by default. You can type "gameme" and go to "chat events" to turn them on. If you turn it on, this setting will save for you (it used to auto-on every time...).
This blocks the "GameME: Face got +7 points [-10] for killing Scrublord (Rank 420 points 0123123)" text print (this is probably not exactly what it looks like but you get the point).
 

A couple of updates.
 
Possibly the most important one as it's the only one that everyone will see on a regular basis, skins are back! Sorry that it took me so long to get the skins back up and working. I honestly just was putting my time elsewhere, but I'm happy to say they're back and hopefully this will help bring back in some population. I know that's hopeful, but I know a lot of people really enjoy the custom skins. Let's all work together on getting JB populated again! If you have any suggestions on how to do so, please post them, message me here, on steam, or in discord!
 
A few minor things:
Admin chat: You'll notice if you type to admins, it will be all red. This was added in the war3 server, and cows asked for it to be on JB and I think it was a great idea. This makes messages to admin stand out against the constant chat spam, so hopefully you'll get answers/responses from admins quicker now, without the "Sorry I missed it" excuse.
 
Commands: I'm still working on some and have ideas for others, but there are a few commands that staff has always been able to do that I actually made commands for them, so if you're trying to think of an LR and a staff member is on, feel free to ask for it!
Zero Friction - have fun feeling like you're playing on ice the next round (sm_friction 1/0) Reverse Air Acceleration - When you're in the air and try and strafe, everything will be backwards! (sm_rair_accelerate 1/0 (when I update this probably tomorrow, you can also do sm_rair 1/0)) Reverse Acceleration - Like the above, just on the ground! (sm_raccelerate 1/0 (same update as above, with raccel 1/0))

Yeah often people can use foul language but if they does it toward to you, you can tell them to stop. If they didn't stop then we can punishment them for that due (disrespect players)
