Also since many people don't use the race that often, but I'm reporting it anyways, but witch-king's disarm can effect teammates as well if you knife them enough times.

I'm under the impression some of my case fans were already dead (my temps weren't bad so I never really checked) but it appears last night any remaining working case fans all died in the span of about an hour. Didn't realize what it was, but on 4 separate occasions I heard loud screeching noise, so I'm assuming all my fans died one by one somehow.
 
As such, I took this as an opportunity to heavily clean and rewire my case (since 15 year old me didn't do the best job), and I ordered some new fans on amazon. Since it is new years, I won't receive the fans until Tuesday.
 
Was going to outright build a new PC in summer (only thing worth saving in mine is my GTX 970 which is only 6 months old... replaced my GTX 260...), and I'm still going to wait until summer.
 
 
I just ended the winter mini-event from my laptop, but I'm not really going to play any multiplayer games on this, so I definitely will not be back on until Tuesday probably.

I think the server is for the most part, balanced. Small tweaks can be made here or there, but there's nothing on the scale of pre-nerf adventurer right now imo.

12:58 PM - ESDaman: I don't think every race needs to be balanced, especially since we have so many races. I dont think the point of war3 is to hop on any class and drop 30 bombs. To me the races are meant to be fun. There should be some overpowered classes, and some classes arent technically overpowered until someone who played them realy well jumps on them, such as impetus and sensei.
1:01 PM - ESDaman: but since there are so many races, trying to balance them all would be pointless. Some races are just there for fun and to add new content. Yeah, people suck on some races and need to find one they're good at, so I dont think buffs are needed. I guess what I'm saying is that I dont care much about balance.

No exploiting to gain an unfair cash, xp, or level advantage. Do not cheat in any way, hack, or exploit any feature on the servers. From the War3 Server Rules:
Unless you are a race tester, do not exploit races. No loop-holing the rules. If you are caught trying to undermine the rules with picky language or in any way abusing them for personal benefit serious consequences will follow.
 
That said, what I am about to address shouldn't even need to be in the rules.
 
Anything that gives you an unfair advantage in any way is obviously wrong.
For example, if you found a way to
deal excessive damage get an unreasonable amount of cash get an unreasonable amount of experience keep shop items through death when you should not be able to (I know there is a C4 bug but it isn't really abuseable) If you abuse these things (or anything similar) you are obviously giving yourself an unfair advantage. If you get to a very high level in a very short time, you are ruining the fun of achievement for others. What is the point of all of Ghoul or dMech's hard work if someone else finds an exploit to get 400 levels instantly? Even if they themselves can use it going forward, they have put more than a year of work into earning what they have.
 
In no way, shape, or form is this fair or in the spirit of Warcraft. I (and I imagine most others as well) highly frown upon anyone abusing something that is obviously not intended. If something seems too good to be allowed, it probably is.
 
A list of signs that you shouldn't be doing something:
If you question what you are doing because an SO (or any other admin) joins the server If your only defense is "but I wasn't breaking any rules" (when it isn't even true, see: above rules) If you collude with other players "hey let's get on when nobody else is" If you wouldn't do what you are doing with a full server and multiple admins on If you have to do any fishy shit like swapping teams, suiciding, orchestrating kills, orchestrating who wins the round, etc. If you are worried about an SO pm'ing me about what you are doing and you need to "explain how it isn't breaking the rules" then you probably shouldn't be doing what you are doing.
 
Keep in mind, this includes things like admins giving out HP and Negevs and people playing on CSGO Pro to gain additional xp. If it not explicitly approved by myself, skitt, or bulletford, admins can not and should not do anything in their power that helps players earn experience.
 
If you find big bugs, please tell me. I have given level bank before if the bug is significant enough and if the player comes to me without abusing it in any way.
 
Earn your levels. Don't do anything to give yourself an unfair advantage.

Expertises are not supposed to be skills that are inherently strong for the race. They are generally small skills that fit with the theme that make it more interesting to play.
Your suggestion doesn't fall within this definition and wouldn't make sense.

The expertise of this race is how it was originally back on WCS. In what way does the expertise make it suck, also remember that expertise is just an small bonus a race gets.

So I was thinking Trickster Assassin's expertise should change. The exploding barrel sucks and doesnt really work into his style, I think it would make more sense and be cooler if his expertise instead allowed him to create a barrel that he could swap positions with one time. It is a cool mechanic and fits into his style way more. What do you guys think?

General reaction was pretty positive. Hope you guys enjoyed it. Maybe you will see a live server soon.

Fixed model bugs with ESP where the ESP model did not match the players model, so it made it look weird (like this: http://puu.sh/kNKWC/4c77e7abae.jpg). Will be fixed on restart.
 
I'm also doing a Server 2 Playtest tonight.
All players are welcome, but I'd appreciate it if I can get some regulars in on it.
It will be at approximately 8PM CDT (4 hours from the time of this post). You will be able to join the server by pasting the following into console:
connect 162.251.167.177:27019; password playtestXP from the play test will not be saved and I will probably be handing out xp/levels/cash like it is candy (just to get more use out of the play test). There will also be no level restrictions on the races that are ready to be tested (~26 of them). There are also 10 new items.
Be aware, races are all tweaked to be substantially stronger and it is based more on countering other players races.
Balance is probably really poor as well since it is 26 unplayed races and 10 new items.

We confirmed a crash causer on the server, bonus knife dmg dealt to Duelist crashes the server.

It was called "DashCon 2014" so idgaf.

DashCon 2014 (Tumblr Con)
- The head organizers asking for $17,000 in donations upon arriving at the convention site, because they never made concrete plans with the hotel it was to be held at, and had to pay if they didn't want to be kicked out.
 
- A dealer's hall that was completely empty save for a few tables, a bounce castle, and the infamous ball pit. (An inflatable kiddie pool with plastic balls in it.)
 
- Scheduled performers walking out because the con organizers where unable to pay their appearance fees, thus forcing them to pay out of pocket for their own travel expenses and interrupt their tours.
 
- Not refunding con goers who paid for tickets to see the performers, but instead allowing them entry into a raffle and an extra hour in the ballpit as compensation.
 
- Minors being allowed into panels about sex and erotica
 
- Someone urinating in the ballpit and posting on Tumblr about it.
 
- And the hotel reporting that they had never asked the con organizers for any money, so the rush to raise $17000 is suspected to be a huge scam.
