    Changed some settings about a week ago, people said lag is better, so I guess they can stay...

    Oh also, purged some of the database, here are some stats to ponder:

     

    Total Rows on Race_Data table before purge: 8,845,845

    Total Rows on Race_Data table after purge:    2,215,157

    That is 6,630,688 Rows delete from the database!  (fun fact: it took 16min 26sec to delete that many rows)

     

    So you must be thinking 'wtf, those are insane numbers, wtf is ctark talking about here?!?!'

    So, the way the database works, when a player connects, they get a separate row for each race that is on the server currently.  If they never play again, they still have about 200 rows in the database!

     

    The above wipe affects 57,486 inactive players that haven't played in the last 365 days, and have less then 100 levels.  Anyone who had more than 100 levels wasn't affected, no matter how long ago you last connected.

     

     

    So ya, go have fun on your much cleaner database.  As always, let me know how the servers are doing. :D

    Movie was fucking awesome.

     

    Spoilers Below? Ya, Definitely Spoilers...

     

    I do agree the characters developed a bit fast, but they had to fit A LOT into such a short time.

    I'm a bit disappointed I didn't really connect with any of the mains, maybe a bit before that droid died, was starting to like him, but it would have been nice to get a bit more connected before everyone died.

     

    This makes you appreciate the Alliance so much more, and the way the tied in characters throughout the film (R2 / C3P0, Leia, Vader) was really cool.  I didn't expect it to tie in to a new hope right away, I thought there would be years between them, but I really liked how they did that.

     

     

     

    Also, I added the spoiler button to the editor's button bar, so you guys can use it now!

    I have gone ahead and re-synced our FastDL service.  After the next map change (or next time you get on), test it out, and let me know if the same issue is happening.

     

    If it is, can you post your SteamID and describe what the spray is supposed to look like?

    Also, everything you suggested Sharp is possible, it's just a lot of coding.  Good ideas though, maybe some will get implemented for an event down the road.
