It’s that time again! As summer is coming to an end and school is starting for a lot of our community (including staff) we’re expanding our staff to start off the new school year. These people have been chosen based on their activity and dedication toward the community throughout the past few months, and I’m sure they will work to improve the community in the future. The list of new Advisors is as follows:
Eddy – Event Advisor/Junior JB Advisor Tristan – Event Advisor fps_trucka – Event Advisor/ZE Advisor DogsGoMeow – Minecraft Advisor/Engineer Along with adding new Advisors, we are shifting the responsibilities of a few existing Advisors.
Diabeticdaniel - Jailbreak Advisor to Counter-Strike Advisor Spell - Event Advisor to Jailbreak Advisor I’d also like to congratulate Josh on being promoted to Operations Manager from his former position as Senior Engineer. He has been an integral member of staff, proving himself to be a valuable asset to the community.
 
With good news comes bad. Unfortunately, I’m sad to say that Someguy will be leaving us. He put a lot of work into the Minecraft server but unfortunately it seems some real life issues have come up. I wish him the best of luck in his future endeavors.

I'd also like to welcome driz to the team as an Engineer following his acceptance into the clan on 9/1/2013. We've been scoping him out as a potential Staff member previous to being accepted and he has proven he is dedicated to helping out the community with his vast knowledge and experience with Linux systems. We have a new Battlefield 4 server!

 Financial Info:
In regards to our financial situation, we are pleased to say we are doing quite well. We are ahead of our bills each month, and we owe nothing.

As stated above, we now have a Battlefield 4 server, which will be costing us roughly $90.00 USD each month, and your support is needed to keep it online. Please consider a donation to go towards this new server so we can keep enjoying it.

We are discussing the possibility of a server hardware upgrade which will not be cheap. You may see, in the very near future a donation tracker to help pay for this upgrade.

 Server Instability:
As most of you know we have been under constant DDOS attacks, we’re working with our server provider to set up some type of mitigation. Watch the forums for any updates regarding this issue.

Once again we had an amazing turnout for our poker tournament with a total of 34 registered players!
Here are just some quick stats from this poker tournament:
The tournament lasted an hour and a half and the top knockouts were Quayle(6), Dailey(5), Spartan Sakaro (4). The bonus pocket aces winner was Detective Nom Noms who won Assassins Creed Black Flag and Splinter Cell Blacklist.

 Cinema Event!
The Cinema server seems to always have something wrong with it. Well after months of work from Ctark we finally have a working Cinema server and at long last a movie night has been organized! We will all gather on the cinema server on January 10th at 7pm Pacific Time. Please visit here for more information on the event.

 Jailbreak
Since the school year started up again, the server hasn't been doing the best. During the holidays the server has shown an improvement. As of recent, the server has had quite a few Server Officer positions open up, if anyone is interested make sure you send your application to Eddy and TurtleFrenzy.

 Warcraft 3
Since Warcraft 3 was released back in July, Thorgot and MrCoolness have been working very hard to keep it up and running, and enjoyable for everyone. The Server originally started with 32 Races, since then there has been a total of 34 races added to the server! Recently Klark lowered the tick rate of the server from 100 to 64. Since then our players have noticed a decrease in the amount of choke they get from the server. Please make sure you thank Thorgot and MrCoolness for all their hard work and dedication.

 Zombie Escape
The server has finally shown a comeback for the first time since Shadow stepped down. Over the past couple of months we have been adding multiple features to the server to provide the best possible experience for players. We have introduced customized ammo clip sizes, so that players will have a larger selection for the weapons to use while in game, than just the Negev or m249. We also have created a grenade plug-in to help identify players who grief grenade, and a grenade restrict plug-in so players who are grief nading can be restricted from using grenades for a certain number of rounds. Lastly, we have added a large number of maps which have been ported over and made specifically for the Syndicate Gamers server! We are also in the works of making the download time shorter for joining, but it will not be finished for quite some time. Everyone has a say in what happens on the server, so if you have any suggestions on how to make the server the best it can be, simply tell us on the forums or message fps_trucka.

 Mini Games
The CP Menu has been re-added to the server. There was a problem with it that resulted in it being removed. Mimic has fixed the plugin and has re-added the plugin to the server. We have also added quite a few maps, 4 of which were ported by Waffles. If you see Waffles around make sure you thank him.

 Surf
The surf server has been doing very well since Josh fixed a bug where weapons wouldn’t despawn from the map causing massive server lag. If you have any suggestions for the server feel free to post them in the surf sub-forum.

 Trouble in Terrorist Town
Detective Nom Noms is now the new Trouble in Terrorist Town Advisor. He will work along with ZachPL, the Garry's Mod Manager. We have faith that these guys can keep with server going strong. If you have any maps or fun ideas for the server please make sure to suggest them.

 Bunny Hop
With the new timer plugin added to the Bunny Hop server, and a constant flow of new maps to the server. Bunny Hop has kept a very steady population throughout the year. Everyone should try to stop by on the server and check out all the hard work Drunkula has put into the server, if you see him make sure to thank him.

 Minecraft
After multiple requests, we decided to change the vanilla minecraft server into a Hexxit server!
For the first time ever this new hexxit server has been made public and since then has been doing very well and has had a steady population of around 7-9 players!
Thanks to everyone for their patience with some initial problems from the server startup, most of these issues have since been ironed out.

 Battlefield 4
The Battlefield 4 server had a very rocky start, the problem was with the game mode constantly changing from hardcore to normal with any little change we made to the server. The server was finally fixed by Ctark and is now running as a 24/7 Harcore Conquest with 64 slots. We are on the look out for Server Officers to help populate the server and create a great environment for all of our players, if you're interested in a Server Officer postion then please send your Private Message to Eddy and TurtleFrenzy.

Once again we had an amazing turnout for our poker tournament with a total of 34 registered players!
Here are just some quick stats from this poker tournament:
The tournament lasted an hour and a half and the top knockouts were Quayle(6), Dailey(5), Spartan Sakaro (4). The bonus pocket aces winner was Detective Nom Noms who won Assassins Creed Black Flag and Splinter Cell Blacklist.

 Cinema Event!
The Cinema server seems to always have something wrong with it. Well after months of work from Ctark we finally have a working Cinema server and at long last a movie night has been organized! We will all gather on the cinema server on January 10th at 7pm Pacific Time. Please visit here for more information on the event.

 Jailbreak
Since the school year started up again, the server hasn't been doing the best. During the holidays the server has shown an improvement. As of recent, the server has had quite a few Server Officer positions open up, if anyone is interested make sure you send your application to Eddy and TurtleFrenzy.

 Warcraft 3
Since Warcraft 3 was released back in July, Thorgot and MrCoolness have been working very hard to keep it up and running, and enjoyable for everyone. The Server originally started with 32 Races, since then there has been a total of 34 races added to the server! Recently Klark lowered the tick rate of the server from 100 to 64. Since then our players have noticed a decrease in the amount of choke they get from the server. Please make sure you thank Thorgot and MrCoolness for all their hard work and dedication.

 Zombie Escape
The server has finally shown a comeback for the first time since Shadow stepped down. Over the past couple of months we have been adding multiple features to the server to provide the best possible experience for players. We have introduced customized ammo clip sizes, so that players will have a larger selection for the weapons to use while in game, than just the Negev or m249. We also have created a grenade plug-in to help identify players who grief grenade, and a grenade restrict plug-in so players who are grief nading can be restricted from using grenades for a certain number of rounds. Lastly, we have added a large number of maps which have been ported over and made specifically for the Syndicate Gamers server! We are also in the works of making the download time shorter for joining, but it will not be finished for quite some time. Everyone has a say in what happens on the server, so if you have any suggestions on how to make the server the best it can be, simply tell us on the forums or message fps_trucka.

 Mini Games
The CP Menu has been re-added to the server. There was a problem with it that resulted in it being removed. Mimic has fixed the plugin and has re-added the plugin to the server. We have also added quite a few maps, 4 of which were ported by Waffles. If you see Waffles around make sure you thank him.

 Surf
The surf server has been doing very well since Josh fixed a bug where weapons wouldn’t despawn from the map causing massive server lag. If you have any suggestions for the server feel free to post them in the surf sub-forum.

 Trouble in Terrorist Town
Detective Nom Noms is now the new Trouble in Terrorist Town Advisor. He will work along with ZachPL, the Garry's Mod Manager. We have faith that these guys can keep with server going strong. If you have any maps or fun ideas for the server please make sure to suggest them.

 Bunny Hop
With the new timer plugin added to the Bunny Hop server, and a constant flow of new maps to the server. Bunny Hop has kept a very steady population throughout the year. Everyone should try to stop by on the server and check out all the hard work Drunkula has put into the server, if you see him make sure to thank him.

 Minecraft
After multiple requests, we decided to change the vanilla minecraft server into a Hexxit server!
For the first time ever this new hexxit server has been made public and since then has been doing very well and has had a steady population of around 7-9 players!
Thanks to everyone for their patience with some initial problems from the server startup, most of these issues have since been ironed out.

 Battlefield 4
The Battlefield 4 server had a very rocky start, the problem was with the game mode constantly changing from hardcore to normal with any little change we made to the server. The server was finally fixed by Ctark and is now running as a 24/7 Harcore Conquest with 64 slots. We are on the look out for Server Officers to help populate the server and create a great environment for all of our players, if you're interested in a Server Officer postion then please send your Private Message to Eddy and TurtleFrenzy.

In regards to our financial situation, we are pleased to say we are doing quite well. We are ahead of our bills each month, and we owe nothing.

As stated above, we now have a Battlefield 4 server, which will be costing us roughly $90.00 USD each month, and your support is needed to keep it online. Please consider a donation to go towards this new server so we can keep enjoying it.

We are discussing the possibility of a server hardware upgrade which will not be cheap. You may see, in the very near future a donation tracker to help pay for this upgrade.

Lastly, we have added a large number of maps which have been ported over and made specifically for the Syndicate Gamers server! We are also in the works of making the download time shorter for joining, but it will not be finished for quite some time. Everyone has a say in what happens on the server, so if you have any suggestions on how to make the server the best it can be, simply tell us on the forums or message fps_trucka.

 Mini Games
The CP Menu has been re-added to the server. There was a problem with it that resulted in it being removed. Mimic has fixed the plugin and has re-added the plugin to the server. We have also added quite a few maps, 4 of which were ported by Waffles. If you see Waffles around make sure you thank him.

 Surf
The surf server has been doing very well since Josh fixed a bug where weapons wouldn’t despawn from the map causing massive server lag. If you have any suggestions for the server feel free to post them in the surf sub-forum.

 Trouble in Terrorist Town
Detective Nom Noms is now the new Trouble in Terrorist Town Advisor. He will work along with ZachPL, the Garry's Mod Manager. We have faith that these guys can keep with server going strong. If you have any maps or fun ideas for the server please make sure to suggest them.

 Bunny Hop
With the new timer plugin added to the Bunny Hop server, and a constant flow of new maps to the server. Bunny Hop has kept a very steady population throughout the year. Everyone should try to stop by on the server and check out all the hard work Drunkula has put into the server, if you see him make sure to thank him.

 Minecraft
After multiple requests, we decided to change the vanilla minecraft server into a Hexxit server!
For the first time ever this new hexxit server has been made public and since then has been doing very well and has had a steady population of around 7-9 players!
Thanks to everyone for their patience with some initial problems from the server startup, most of these issues have since been ironed out.

 Battlefield 4
The Battlefield 4 server had a very rocky start, the problem was with the game mode constantly changing from hardcore to normal with any little change we made to the server. The server was finally fixed by Ctark and is now running as a 24/7 Harcore Conquest with 64 slots. We are on the look out for Server Officers to help populate the server and create a great environment for all of our players, if you're interested in a Server Officer postion then please send your Private Message to Eddy and TurtleFrenzy.
