Matthew is literally just trying to have fun. I heard him laugh today, which is a lot more to be said about a good majority of JB players. Stop harassing him thnx. Most of the time he's trying to help, and it doesn't help when people patronize him for it. It is a game after all.

I know the kid pisses you off, he got on everyone's nerves when he was admin. He knows he fucked up, and he really is trying to get past all that. I know he complains a lot about disrespect and harassment when most of the time it's just a mild insult, but the kid shouldn't be ridiculed forever because of this. Every admin has fucked up, some more than others and he shouldn't have the entire JB community at his throat because he was an awful admin. It's not for everyone and I think he learned that.
 
The kid is like 11 or 12 if I remember correctly and we were all little shits back then, but the thing is we all grow up. I played JB today, and he was on as well. the amount of shit he gets from a majority of players is ridiculous. I get CT's gun planting T's when he is warden, everyone shouting "FREEKILL!" whenever he kills someone, and I honestly feel terrible for him. At first I didn't give a shit because he annoyed the hell out of me with the entire admin abuse situation, but all these little things are gonna keep adding up. I know we all say something like "It's the Internet, if you can't handle it get off" but the matter of the fact is, he can't play his favorite game because of a fuck up. People like SlyFox shit on Matthew at every possible moment and SlyFox has his bad (terrible) days too. 
 
All in all, Matthew fucked up, we all know that. But he's still so young, and he shouldn't get all this hate after the situation has ended. If I was in his place back when i was 13 or 14, I know that would've really fucked me up mentally with all those little insults whenever I got on. 99% of the time, when he gets insulted its nothing major and something we all experience when someone gets mad at us, but he gets this constantly (At least when I'm on). I know you were doing it for fun and whatnot, but don't push the kid's button. He was a awful admin, but he really is a decent player in the community. Like I said, it's not just you, but when an admin does what you did, it sets an example to the rest of the regulars and people playing that it's okay to do what you're doing.

I get you were having "fun" and there weren't many people on. Yes it kills it when one person doesn't want to participate and God forbid that THEY MIGHT ACTUALLY WANT TO PLAY JAILBREAK WHEN THEY JOIN JAILBREAK.
 
If one person doesn't want it, don't do it. If everyone's ok with it, then whatever. There are no votes for "Admin abuse days", especially on a specific player. It doesn't matter if it gets a 90% vote.. You were in the wrong on this one, even if he can get annoying. The same would stand for any other player. I would say the only time what you were doing would be ok is with a 100% server vote. Even with 5 people, it shouldn't be freedays every round etc.
 
Going by that logic, say goodbye to sG. It really is one of the dumber things you could have said. You are saying this because it targets Matthew, not people under 18 in general. We have so many members under the age of 18, or that were at the time of joining (As Banana pointed you, you are included in this). We would lose admins, staff, and our income ( I say this because even though most are over 18 now, they never would have been part of sG, and may have just left rather than sticking around for as long as they have ). 
 
As I said, this is just another form of targeting Matthew, or other "no-balls" people that the community generally doesn't like. I guarantee there are plenty of people that play on the servers daily that are under 18, and that you enjoy playing on the servers with. 
 
I think Travesty really said it best, as most people just can't handle/don't know how to handle situations well and in an unbiased manner. 

I feel like some of you guys just don't know how to handle problems within the server.
 
 
Firstly, explain to Matthew that he talks to much and to let go of his microphone button. He shuts up. Secondly, tell the people that are picking on him to stop. It's basically like taking the preschoolers and putting them in opposite sides of the room so they can't disrupt each other. Take my own testimony because this has been 100% foolproof every time I've seen it.
 
Done. We move on and play the game. It's really not that difficult.
 
Also consider asking a question as to why they're doing it. Usually by that point they'll think to themselves, "Yeah, why am I doing this?"
 
 
 
I agree with Yunki for the most part but Matthew also needs to be put in his place as well. Kid needs to learn that saying, "Mom, he's bugging me!" is not going to solve his problems. He needs to find a way to grow some tolerance and ignore people.

No exploiting to gain an unfair cash, xp, or level advantage. Do not cheat in any way, hack, or exploit any feature on the servers. From the War3 Server Rules:
Unless you are a race tester, do not exploit races. No loop-holing the rules. If you are caught trying to undermine the rules with picky language or in any way abusing them for personal benefit serious consequences will follow.
 
That said, what I am about to address shouldn't even need to be in the rules.
 
Anything that gives you an unfair advantage in any way is obviously wrong.
For example, if you found a way to
deal excessive damage get an unreasonable amount of cash get an unreasonable amount of experience keep shop items through death when you should not be able to (I know there is a C4 bug but it isn't really abuseable) If you abuse these things (or anything similar) you are obviously giving yourself an unfair advantage. If you get to a very high level in a very short time, you are ruining the fun of achievement for others. What is the point of all of Ghoul or dMech's hard work if someone else finds an exploit to get 400 levels instantly? Even if they themselves can use it going forward, they have put more than a year of work into earning what they have.
 
In no way, shape, or form is this fair or in the spirit of Warcraft. I (and I imagine most others as well) highly frown upon anyone abusing something that is obviously not intended. If something seems too good to be allowed, it probably is.
 
A list of signs that you shouldn't be doing something:
If you question what you are doing because an SO (or any other admin) joins the server If your only defense is "but I wasn't breaking any rules" (when it isn't even true, see: above rules) If you collude with other players "hey let's get on when nobody else is" If you wouldn't do what you are doing with a full server and multiple admins on If you have to do any fishy shit like swapping teams, suiciding, orchestrating kills, orchestrating who wins the round, etc. If you are worried about an SO pm'ing me about what you are doing and you need to "explain how it isn't breaking the rules" then you probably shouldn't be doing what you are doing.
 
Keep in mind, this includes things like admins giving out HP and Negevs and people playing on CSGO Pro to gain additional xp. If it not explicitly approved by myself, skitt, or bulletford, admins can not and should not do anything in their power that helps players earn experience.
 
If you find big bugs, please tell me. I have given level bank before if the bug is significant enough and if the player comes to me without abusing it in any way.
 
Earn your levels. Don't do anything to give yourself an unfair advantage.
It isn't that hard.

IMO Matthew shouldn't have admin and gets in the way most of the time by overstepping -- thinking he's helping out. He obviously isn't capable of handling easy situations successfully and should probably wait a couple months/years before having the privilege and responsibility of being an Administrator of a server.
