As much as I agree with you, we also should take in consideration his age. As much as he acted in the spur of the moment, everyone feels like doing things, and its having self control that keeps a person in line. Whats to say two weeks down the line he won't pull the same crap? And mainly what I got from his forgiveness letter, was that "other servers weren't as good". So its not like he's apologizing solely for the way he acted and asking for a second chance based upon his language and actions, but mainly because he din't enjoy the other servers as much as he enjoys playing our own.

Granted, I'll give him a benefit of doubt saying it was him trying to add on why he wants to stay in our community, but as Drew has states, I feel like his apology is shallow. It seems a bit rehearsed, and I'll give him props for trying, he wrote everything coherently, everything was flowing smoothly with his paragraphs. I'll give him props for the paragraph aswell, he actually put time into writing it.

Maybe if he shows he can actually be mature instead of speaking about himself in third person, maybe he deserves to stick around, but no one enjoys a grown ass man throw a tantrum. (Speaking about myself included, specially during the start of the year. )

Maybe he should wait a bit and get his life sorted, and not appeal less than 72 hours after being sent away.

How to properly introduce someone to sG | Jailbreak

As a regular player on jailbreak, I tend to see a lot of newer people who don't know how to play get screamed at or disrespected by other players and sometimes higher class members. I definitely believe this is wrong as it drives them away from the community. So I am here to teach all you fellow people how to properly do so! This is aimed more at higher class members, but is also meant for anyone to read, so that they can become a more notable player.

Step 1: Make a good example of yourself: By being a good example you are well aware of the sG Jailbreak rules, which can be found in-game by typing (!rules) or by searching them up on the joinsg website. You are mature, respectful to all players, but can also be strict on things that are way out of hand. By respecting all players that means that you aren't calling a newer person or a veteran player in-game a harsh word because they did something wrong, (being strict at this point means you can raise your voice and be stern calling them out on what they did, not just blatantly disrespecting them), tell them of their wrong doing and if so give them a certain punishment and kindly tell them to read the rules.

Step 2: Help them out: If a person ask a question that is safe to answer, answer it. Unless it is something like: What is 2+2? You don't have to answer every question, but if someone asks, "What is lr?"  , just respond kindly by saying something along the lines of, "Lr is two things: Last Round and Last Request, last round is the decision on who gets lr (last request), and whoever gets lr, they can choose up to a large variety of things such as a freeday, or a warday, or a ct jday." If they have further questions, answer them, but at the same time don't take up the whole round helping them out if you are warden, if you would like to do so pass on your warden.

Step 3: Show them that this is for fun: By doing so, you are showing them that this isn't serious, and that it shouldn't be taken serious (unless mfk of course or fk). What I mean is, if someone or the person that you are directing towards is taking jailbreak as a weight on their shoulder, calm them down and lift them up, don't just make them angrier.

Step 4: Have fun and introduce them into new things: When people ask me why I play jailbreak, I simply tell them, "It is a pretty fun game and has some awesome people to meet." My best moments on jailbreak are when everyone is having a good time, so when someone isn't, do what I recommended you to do in Step 3. Introduce them to new things such as the joinsg website, or sG Bingo, hell even other game modes or games that are sG supported.

TL;DR : Don't be a dick, and have fun while also showing them the rules of the game. If you want, introduce them to new games. If the person is a bit emotional (mad or such) don't be the person to bring them down even more.

I added the "why the downrep" thing because before the admin !kick @all because Zip and Narwhals downrepped to troll me, so when I was like "pls stop rip rep" in JB, alot got online to downrep it for lolz.  After that I posted the !kick @all, that downrep is legitimate, and deserved.

I'll apologise here as well, Scrub and I acted foolishly and should not have done so.  It was spur of the moment, and not a reflection of our normal behavior.  Yes, in the past I have behaved in the same matter, but I've realized that that behavior did not reflect my true intentions.  It will not happen again, and I will be sure to represent the values that sG holds in the future.

p.s.- sorry scrub, pls forgive me.

Aiite, I know you're working on it and it just launched today, but here's my biggest complaint about the forum layout now -- it's too fucking big.  Unnecessarily so.  There's too much space between everything.  Here are some comparison shots, and some specifics on what changed that could be changed.

    1)  Chatbox is fucking huge.
Old: 5 lines, 220 pixel height.  Icons are shrunk down from their standard size, and everything displays on 1 line by default if it fits ICON-NAME-MESSAGE.  YOU CAN MINIMIZE IT.
New: 6 lines, 420 pixel height.  Icons are shrunk slightly, but bigger than they need to be.  Messages display on 2 lines by default. YOU CAN'T MINIMIZE IT.

    2)  Announcements -- I don't have an example, but they're one thin bar in the old version, and this one has a mini post that you guys set not to be dismissable with a lot of empty, white space above and below the actual announcement.

    3) Sidebar items -- I can dismiss them all in the old forums, in these forums, you cannot.  They apparently also show up inside of threads now (did they before?), and just suck up space that could be used (again) for the actual content of the thread.  This screenshot is 1250 pixels wide, text only displayed in 700 pixels.  Appears to be slightly less of an issue on the Brave theme, because the left sidebar is removed which adds about 300 pixels for thread content.

    4) Size of each subforum
Old: 75 pixels, description on mouseover, .  Newest post split into 2 lines (title:::Date,Poster), 40 pixels.
New: 115 pixels, description has its own special place below links to the actual subforum, .  Newest post split into 3 lines (title:::Poster:::Date), 55 pixels.

    5) Child forums
Old:  If the listed child forums could fit on one line, they would all be listed on one line.  100 pixels for this vs....
New: Child forums are split into 2 columns, the font is bigger, and the space between each line is bigger.  320 pixels for this.

    6)  I don't know how to describe this... definition? Organization?

Old:  The links, shoutbox, and announcements made up the "top" of the forums.  They spanned across the entire top of the page.  The list of subforums and all the side modules appeared underneath them, and it gave a little bit better definition (in my opinion) to the forums, and made the shoutbox more prominent, but differentiated it from the forums below.  I don't have to scroll down an entire page to see the forums or a post that I'm reading.
New:  The shoutbox blends with the forums, the sidebars take up space that could be used for the shoutbox and announcements so they aren't quite as long.  I have to scroll down an entire page length to get to the forums or a post I clicked on.

I'm bored of this now, but I'm sure I'll edit when I notice more shit.

Edit:  I can't ninja edit shit any more to make people look dumb.  Move that to complaint #1.

Mark from Facebook reacted to Yunki in sm_random command
While in class I had an idea for a new command that when used will give the specific player a random FD (choices will be regular fd, zombie fd, sonic fd, ninja fd, lj fd [500 power], and low grav fd). In addition, a message will pop up in chat with what the person received
    Message example:
[Player] has received a zombie freeday! They MUST shift walk when moving and may not jump, climb, or press buttons. They MAY knife CTs.
[Player] has received a sonic freeday! They have a freeday with super speed. They may NOT knife CTs.
So with that one command the person will receive all the perks and the message will appear as well. If this wouldn't be too much work I think it could be a cool new way for lrs when people don't know what they want.

Mark from Facebook reacted to trav in Am I the only one that feels like the Forums are convoluted?
This might just be me but I think there's too many subforums for the amount of posts that occur on these forums.

General Discussion could amalgamate into one subforum and fall under General Discussion.

Introductions and Recruitment could go under Community.

Ideas and Comments could be moved to their own respective subforum, JB, WC3, TTTGO, Surf, etc.

Strategy Division could be moved into a General Gaming (outside of General Discussion).

With this type of movement you wouldn't have to click in each subforum to see the new posts or ideas (see all the jailbreak ideas placed in many places within this website). It would all be in one place or few places to see what people have posted. I feel like a lot of the time people don't use the Follow Thread button and then post in a thread and forget about it. But if it's available to view immediately it might help them click that thread again and potentially create more discussion.

Making it more organized has instead made it more cluttered and harder to find new topics that might interest you.

Am I the only one that feels this way?

P.S. I currently have my profile settings set so that whenever I post in a topic, I automatically follow it so that I get a notification when there is a new post in a topic I posted in.

SO BASICALLY ALL WE'RE AGREEING UPON IS THAT

    - IF YOU DO THIS COMMAND. YOU'RE A FAGGOT OF THE HIGHEST DEGREES.

    - IF THIS COMMAND WERE TO HAPPEN, MOST OF THE COMMUNITY ACCEPTS THE REPEAT AS THE TRIGGER WORD.

    - IF YOU DIDN'T HEAR IT THE FIRST TIME, YOU BETTER START MOVING ON THE REPEAT.

That is what i've taken from this cancer.
