I'm pretty sure I've infracted nearly every staff member. You are right though, the problem exists with staff as well. We are now documenting issues better so we don't go off memory, but the problem will likely remain for a bit while we work the system out.

Here's the deal, you're asking staff to take your memory from possibly months ago as accurate. If you had reported the original issue, and then you link to that report in the current issue, it's relevant. SOs should be above lying and other things, but keep in mind, we had SOs in some hate organizing group less than 6 months ago. Staff make decisions only on relevant info with proof in the thread (although sometimes an SO THAT WAS PRESENT can contribute things without proof for consideration) If we just let members come in and say "oh yah he's done this 5 times before, perm him" huf wouldn't even be here anymore because you guys are biased. (that's not to say staff isn't biased either, which is why we adhere to the rules in the CD aswell)
 
Bottom line, the rule isn't changing. If someone breaks a rule, report it. If you dont want it public, put it in pm to staff. If they later break another rule and you'd like to cite your previous encounter, link the old thread or tell us and we'll find it. no proof, no post, simple as that.

People directly involved can reply to the complaints. Especially if they are the ones being accused, but some people just straight up troll.

very mature post. remember, you're not banned, you're just not a clan member anymore. I believe there is a timeframe where you can apply again if you so choose. 
 
regardless, i respect the way you took this.

sometimes shit will slip through, rigger is a job in the military and we had nice riggers and riggers that got you killed, as a point of fact I was a rigger for 3 years. We as staff can't always determine if someone is being racist. therefore, the blatant uses get taken care of much quicker than the cases that are less obvious. You also have young guys as SOs who might not even know something is racist. this is a COMMUNITY help people out, report offenses, click the report button on forums. 
 
If you'd like to make a valid point, like music freak did, do so, but star out the words. he knew it violated rules and I infracted him for it prior to editing his post. you guys have to use some common sense. we have rules, sometimes people dont catch shit and it slips through. That's why we have a report button on posts. The community can help clean things up just as easily as staff can. We have lazy (and stupid as fuck) community members just like we have lazy staff members (although most staff are actually intelligent)
 
Rayne is on point though, this isn't about friends or who's watching. it's about following the community rules because at some point you will be seen and punished. be happy i didnt ban each one of you with a stupid meme on this thread.

I handle it the same way as some others.
If they're new to some extent on the server and say it I will warn, however if they're a regular it'll be an instant kick, if they return and repeat it for whatever reason, it'll be a ban. 
Pretty self-explanatory right?
Calling someone a child and telling them to leave isn't exactly constructive.

Driz asked you to run a traceroute and then you asked if it was fixed... Driz once again asked you to re-read his post because he wants you to run a traceroute. You know have once again asked if there is a fix. Do you have any idea of what we will ask you next?

The "FIX" is coming really soon. Just be patient and wait.

As someone who got a no vote from Sakaro, it didn't bother me at all. The guy doesn't know me, clearly didn't view my post history and had never played with me, but in the end if 1 vote is what keeps me out, I probably need to change some other things. Just because it is easy to catch him with the no votes doesn't mean others aren't giving yes votes for no reason, so consider that when you bash him.
As to community based votes, I think voters just need to take personal responsibility. I don't want yes votes if you haven't read my posts or played with me, I want yes votes because either in game play or in the forums you found me to be a positive for the community as a whole. In the end it is up to the voter to hold themselves accountable not staff. It will become quickly apparent who the voters are that aren't doing the right thing.
Perhaps a requirement for positive karma on the forums and the rest of the community can enforce standards via down and up votes.
