New Server Box
As you may know, in the past few months we were being bottlenecked by the hardware in our physical server. While trying to expand in CSGO, GMOD, and newer games the server hardware just could not handle what we were asking of it. Thankfully with the help of all the Engineers, we were able to smoothly transition to a box with better hardware. The end result is that our JB and TTT servers are in much better condition with regular operation and we can easily expand to gamemodes/gameservers. Thanks so much for all your support guys, we wouldn't be able to do this without the community! Hopefully we can launch more populated and active servers and do well this upcoming summer with the influx of activity.
Intermittent/Unstable Server Service
In addition to the new server box, we would also like to apologize for the serious instability in service everyone experienced on our servers the past few weeks. To keep it short and simple, we were being DDoSed by a group of people every time one of our servers would fill up and max out in population, that would eventually cause the server to lag and crash, steering away players. We as staff tried working with the company that hosts our server box but it wasn't to much success during the past few weeks (our server would fill up, then be attacked then we'd lose access to the server). As of now, it looks like the attacks have subsided. We are actively working on finding out what happened and hopefully preventing this from happening in the future. Once again, we apologize for the intermittent service but hopefully you can understand why it happened and how it was beyond our control at certain points in time.

Poker
We had a great turnout for our sG Spring Poker Tournament!
Some poker stats:
-31 People registered -1 AFK (KGame is banned from the next tournament) -Top 3 dangerous players in the tournament (most knockouts) C12K: 6.5, Titan: 4.5, and rhmaha: 3 -The tournament lasted 1 hours 46 min

Management
- Changes in Staff
We would like to say goodbye to a few staff members now.
Mitch has been an integral part of the community for a very long time now. Though his years of service he has always tried to do the best he could to help sG thrive. If you see Mitch around, please make sure you thank him for the countless hours of his time he has put into bettering sG. Thank you Mitch, you will be missed.
Also leaving staff are Tortoise, Sakata, Wintergreen, Sportsteen, Iyedol and Toxygen. We thank them for all they have done, and wish them the best of luck.
In the upcoming week, there will be some additional staff changes that will be announced seperately.
Arcade
We have added an Arcade to the forums! We had to wait until all the forum problems were ironed out before releasing, but here it is! In the future, we may have some arcade-based events. Anyone caught cheating scores on the arcade will simply be permanently banned from using it.
Gameservers
Store Plugin
That's right, a store is coming to sG! As of now the plugin include credits, which will be gained through active play time on the server. There is an inventory, which records your purchases, so you may switch back to previous purchases or new ones (excluding temporary purchases). The store currently offers purchasable hats, accessories, titles, nade trails, weapon glows and trails. As development continues more hats, accessories and skins will become available for purchase.
Jailbreak
Our Jailbreak server has continued to thrive since it's rebirth into CS:GO. Keep up the good work and keep the server fun for everyone involved. Enjoy the recent throwback to the past as a bunch of classic JB maps have been added to the server thanks to JFK!
Zombie Escape
In the upcoming weeks the Zombie Escape server will be converted into a Zombie Mod/Zombie Escape server. These changes are being made to draw a bigger player base to the server, as well as to reduce the repetition of playing the same game type. The settings will stay similar and be compatible and fair for both game type. More models and zombie/human class are being planned for a future update. As well as making the new upcoming store plugin available on ZE/ZM. We are looking for more Server Officers for the server who will participate and actively play.
Surf
The server is running great! The store plugin, after being stable, will be added to the server to add more custom content. We are looking for more Server Officers for the server who will participate and actively play.
MiniGame Madness
The server has been recently improved to resemble the original MG, making it feel more like CSS. Surfing and b-hopping work on the server as these were not working correctly. VIP skins will be set up very soon for your enjoyment. The store plugin is live on minigames and working well. Roll the dice was added along with a numerous number of maps. All the server needs is for people to play and enjoy it! We are looking for more Server Officers for the server who will participate and actively play.
TTT
TTT being one of our most popular and constantly populated servers has continued to do well in recent months. Recently, centran has added multiple new weapons and maps to enjoy in TTT. We are in the process of fine tuning them so that they all work well within the game as some are currently slightly overpowered. We will continue to do our best to make TTT enjoyable for everyone to play.
Cinema
Cinema was a new direction for our clan when it launched in February and the server was off to a great start reaching maximum capacity at 50 several times in the early going. Then garry broke fastdl and cinema which relies heavily on fastdl died off until the end of march when it was fixed. Ctark and ZachPL will do their best to get cinema back on the right track in the upcoming months it has serious potential and we have plenty of updates planned for it.
Ranks/Recruitment
Changes to Rank/Recruitment System
Staff are working on possible (key word, possible not definite - they may or may not happen depending on various factors, also including community input) changes to the ranks and recruitment system in regards to sG. The current ranks system is somewhat outdated and needs to be updated. There also has been multiple suggestions put in the air to change recruitment. There is a section in the survey for you to fill out suggestions that you want to send to us. We'll take all the suggestions into account and hopefully create a better system within the next month if needed.
Rank Promotions
Congratulations to those who got promoted to a new rank! Once again, there is a huge backlog so some of this may be out of date (aka some of you were promoted to staff positions more recently, or have a current rank app active).
