They're missing two rounds if they wait for their slay round, then leave and come back later.  They are missing one round if they leave immediately and come back later.
 
They will sit out one round if they just d/c in both cases, and miss an additional round if they have to sit through a slay.
 
 
Punishing for RDM and leave is as much a proactive punishment as it is reactive.  You punish them for doing something bad, but you're also disincentivizing people from RDMing whenever they plan on disconnecting from the server anyway to be a dick.

On Saturday, at 9:15 PM EST, I received a permanent ban from iafunky for having 4 bans in the same category (racism). I received these 4 bans for racism for playing certain songs that contained a racial slur. One of these bans I received without a kick, mute or a warning, which I feel is unfair and pretty sure is against the rules. I fully accept my consequences for this and I promise that it will never happen again. I promise to uninstall Slam, never micspam, and never say ANY racial slur on any sG servers anymore or you can feel free to give me another permanent ban. I have made so many great memories playing on sG servers and would hate to not be able to play on them.

 
On their own time, when they want.  They will sit out a round on our time, when we want, for breaking the rules.

Yes... that's the punishment.  Just leaving avoids the point of the slay, which is to make them sit out a round.

From cookie's evidence against papi video, Its hard to tell what was TS and what was in game but can we have some seminar teaching regulars not to tell out when somebody is god damn hacking on our servers?

 
You must not be a true professional gamer. If you where on that level you would have low latency headphones. It isn't just the headphones but the sound card. Less processing time and a short headphone cable means the footstep gets to your ears faster so that you can use that sound to perfectly time your jumps. This is why you are not good at bhopping and have to accuse those way beyond your skill level of cheating. If you where to get better hardware and practice more you might be able to get close to that level and would start to understand. This stuff is trivial.

I'll clarify to Jeff, I wasn't saying CMan does any of this. I've been told it's just a common tactic and I was saying it's a lame one. Simple as that.

 

Alright you're clearly misinformed here man. I'm always based with Cman and whenever we raid people we never de-spawn loot, the only exception is when we destroy a locked chest and can't carry everything back in our inventories, the remaining loot is all scattered on the ground and de-spawns. Nothing we can really do about that if our inventories are full.

 

I've also raided with Ollie's group a couple of times before and whenever we did get to the loot room. We take all the loot we can or destroy the chest if they're locked and then take all the loot we can. Also, no one in that group has burned a base down along with the loot it's a waste of time and you gain nothing from it. It also doesn't help when there are bases made of wood.

 

Don't believe everything you hear from people about Cman specifically because he is probably the most neutral and level headed player on that server.

I literally heard this stuff from cmans group and slyfox. And the burning the base was a hyperbole. And again, I don't care guys, I just want to hear about exciting battles from rust not people being able to take their time raiding a base

I was not involved in the raid last night, Im just making sure you know the facts from boths sides not one.

Oh I know full well the tactics y'all use. Rather burn the base and loot so nobody gets anything during online raids, which plays into people raiding people while they are offline. Y'all bad
