Yesterday, (and I'm dating the post for today as I did not mention it on the forums last night) the rulepage for the server received an update. The rules are fundamentally the same, however the end goal was to create a more clear and concise set of rules that people may understand easier. The intention is to still have a less strict policy while also promoting interpretation. As always, you can find the rules here.
 
If you have any questions or concerns regarding a certain rule or about them in general, feel free to leave a comment here or to PM me on Discord or Steam and I will get to it when I can. Thank you for playing on the server, and I hope the rules are more clear for you all.

Some of you may have noticed or not but I haven't been on in awhile or seen me that much. Even fewer of you know that I had a car accident a few months ago that also made me have some time off the server. I just wanted to let you guys know I started having seizures from the car wreck trauma to my head. I had a bad one a few weeks ago that I actually ripped my rotator cuff so badly I had to have surgery and now I am going through therapy to be able to use my left arm again. On another side note I have a form of epilepsy now that has a variety of triggers and gaming is on the list. SO until my arm heals and I can use it again and they find the right medicine to prescribe to me to suppress the seizures no more fast paced bright colored games for me either. Just wanted to update the people who care. So now you know. I will see you guys when I can

2. @*star* & @Dad? this community has been running strong for more than ten years now. You two are yet another fart in the wind to sG and we certainly don't need your input into how to better ourselves.
 
The amount of hypocritical bullshit I've seen the two of you spew in such little time here has given me enough cause to believe your bans were completely justified... you don't seem to have the common sense of a gold fish, so how you've 'ran communities' completely baffles me.
 
If you think you can waltz into this forum, be clever and throw some punches then you've come to the right place. But trust me when I say, you won't win. We've eaten up and shit out worse than you and I'm sure we will again. Believe my words when I say "you are nothing to us and never will be".

So I know a lot of people here are having fun arguing with you guys, but there's really only two issues I have with what you two are saying. The first one being the above quote. You're again assuming this community is filled with people of lower education than yourselves. Myself and others have graduated with CS, EE, and other degrees, while actually working in industry and volunteering time here on the side to make sure our servers are maintained, protected, etc. You two talk a lot about everyone here making assumptions about you, but you're doing the same. Trust me when I say we're providing essentially the best services possible to our servers (within any sort of reasonable cost).
 
 
 
 
 
I quoted quite a few of these where you keep talking about how admin should not be purchasable. This last quote above is exactly why we're able to. You two were banned, and unbanned a couple of days later (sorry it took so long, I do appreciate you donating to the servers and trying to help them out). BUT this is exactly the process we have in place, if people think there has been abuse by ANY admin, paid or volunteer, report (or if they're in an upper position such as staff / so, they can ban them and report them) so that it can be properly taken care of. In this case, you two were unbanned, but if abuse was found, admin would potentially be taken away. I don't see any reason we can't offer increased permissions, with higher consequences for wrongful use. Not to mention on other servers outside of GMOD, it does give many of the other benefits you guys have mentioned (cosmetic, extra side perks, etc). 
 
As with any ban that gets reversed, I apologize for the time you guys missed out on playing the server. Especially since it was a good chunk of the weekend.

If they don't want to pay they can apply to the clan and apply for SO. Paying isn't the only way. Also, bans aren't permanent and can be removed in a few moments by any staff.
If a regular ever sees a paidmin abusing they can report it to a staff member or anyone in the clan who can contact a staff member.
The system has worked for sG for about what, 7 years now? I don't think that it is as flawed as you do.

Your interaction(s) with those involved in this forum is plenty for me to safely say you're far from mature. You're caught up in the power just as much as the other SO's and Staff members are. I am in no way being a bigot, as you wish to put it. I'm simply stating my point of view on thing and if you're finding that offensive, I'm sincerely not sorry. That's unfortunate that you're getting butt hurt when people stand up for themselves, it's a shame you're too incompetent to understand the fact that we were banned unjustly. Also, you guys are kinda being dicks. A lot of servers that I've seen sell basic admin packages.
 
I've never seen Lot abuse, so I doubt she be power trippin, you two on the other hand seem a bit unstable.
At every turn you attempt to brag about your lives to make them seem interesting or to make yourselves seem better than others. For all we know you just might be, but the way you're going about trying to explain yourselves to others just makes you seem like cunts.

Actually, I can talk about maturity. You guys are circle jerking eachother on a forum, where half the community cares less about GMOD. So, let's talk maturity. You have never spoken with me, nor even had any interaction with me, and are judging me based on a lazy town quote. You see, half the signatures on this forum, are inside jokes, with multiple people, such as the Uncle Chang thing. Instead of being a judgemental bigot, chill out. You guys have come here for an unban. Instead you have taken it upon yourselves to come here and flame people, trying to meme, and it's just making you guys looks really, really, bad and toxic. 
If you guys need, make a private message to staff instead of flaming our community members.

Alright, we got a few problems here; class is in session.
 
One, you're assuming that we don't know each other in real life when in fact, we do.
 
Two, you're using the term "Every" a bit too much there, I would beg to differ that EVERY staff member and SO has intentions on helping the server, some (won't say names lotmushr), are there for the thrill of feeling powerful because of their lack of authority in real life; you don't have to relieve your anger on the ones who support your little hobby of feeling above others. It's okay to see a counselor or perhaps even talk to your parents once or twice.
 
Lastly, most servers don't offer a paid admin position, they offer a DONATOR position that is given MINIMAL perms necessary to contain the basic offenses. Not the ability to ban, kick, or anything of that sort. If you're going to attempt to sound good at what you do or intelligent, at least use some facts to minimize your embarrassment.

I wouldn't say I got my panties in a bunch, I just wanted my rank that I PAID for is all :-)
 

TiL, I'm a vanilla ttt server officer. "I can't get online because I have a life." So are you telling me people have to always been on the server no matter what? If you think that then I recommend finding a different server to go play on.
 
Every Staff member and Server Officer in this community volunteers to be an admin and help out this community in their spare time. It's why we allow people to buy premium admin to alleviate the  stress our Server Officers have to deal with at times.
 
Don't come to this community starting shit with your little online girlfriend because the end result will wind up being a perma ban for the both of u if you keep antagonizing our SOs and abusing your admin privileges.

You're trying to negate the fact that these servers are so thirsty for money that they offer staff privileges and commands for money and then the SO's, who don't pay for their rank, bitch about the Paidmins actually enforcing the rules without being a complete cunt. Cherry picking your information is a magical thing.
 
You sir might have the rare developmental disorder commonly referred to as Autism or Autism Spectrum. It's a mental condition, present from early childhood, characterized by difficulty in communicating and forming relationships with other people and in using language and abstract concepts. Too much SO'ing really fucks you up man, maybe take a break from the constant sucking off of staff members and look for something better in life.
