Frag grenades, Molotov, Smokes, flashbangs.
 
Since we can already have two pyros on one team what is one more grenade race. I still think we should reduce pyros down to one per team but either way I always wanted to design a cryomancer to oppose the pyromancer.
Cyromancer utilizes Molotov and smoke grenades instead of flashbangs and frag grenades.
 
Armor of Ice ( 5 ranks ) : Cover yourself in a defensive layer of ice armor. ( Each rank increases health by 10 and gives 25 armor rank 5 gives you a free helmet ) 
 
Cryo-sphere ( 5 ranks ) : Create frozen explosives to frost over your enemies and creating short blooms of snow ( each rank increases the rate in which the player spawns smoke grenades in their hands, when thrown the smoke grenades fly forward and will bounce off of textures after a duration or hitting a player the smoke grenade will explode dealing aoe damage and slowing enemies hit. The  blue smokes duration is set to 1 second ) ( each rank increases damage by 6 damage ) ( each rank increases slow duration by .5s and slow amount by 5% )
 
Essence of Winter ( 5 ranks ) ( ability 1 )( 10s cd ) ( 1 stock ) Summon the essence of winter and release it upon your enemies. ( Spawn a molotov in your hand and when thrown will fly forward and bounce off of textures and will explode on contact with a player or after a duration flames will be blue ) ( enemies hit by this attack cannot gain health for the next 8-13s and lose the ability to evade attacks ) ( each rank increases the chances of you refreshing its use on any player killed by you by 20% ) ( can only have 1 stock at a time )
 
Cryomantic ( 5 ranks ) ( on death ) Upon death explode into a wintery storm blinding and freezing your enemies ( when killed explode into a large blue smoke screen slowing your enemies movement speed and dealing them damage ) ( each rank increases cloud duration by .75 seconds slow amount by 10% and damage done by 5 ) 
 
Absolute Zero ( 6 ranks ) ( ultimate ) ( 30s cd ) Create an orb of absolute zero then hurl it to create of zone of cold ( spawn a HE grenade in your hand when thrown will fly in a straight path and stick to the first surface it hits including players ) ( Once stuck the grenade will pulse a AoE every 2 seconds that deals damage and gives opponents a mini stun of .75s ) ( each rank increases the damage by 2 and duration as follows Rank 1 2s, Rank 2 2s, Rank 3 4s, Rank 4 4s, Rank 5 6s, Rank 6 6s. ) ( each time a player is hit by more than one pulse the duration is increased by .75s

Cl_allowdownload 1, cl_downloadfilter all are the correct cvars

Perhaps you turned cl_downloadfilter 0 on. This command makes it so that you stop downloading new things from the server i believe
 
Try doing cl_downloadfilter none , if that doesn't work, then I'm not sure

Kris fucking kringle

This year because of my life we will have kris kringle and grinch, grinch will be buffed.
I might add another race or two (elf? jesus?) but my only real free time is this weekend (And I still have a lot to do IRL Saturday) then after that I'll be busy forever so don't bank on it.

So i truly don't know if this can be done since i truly have no idea about coding but that's why we got Face and people xD...
 
But the idea is that once you get a kill you can get 2 things coins or presents and you instantly get them you don't have to pick them up from the dead body at all and with these coins you can buy yourself things
like hp or speed or even a small long jump if they have enough BUT also they can spend it on friendly teammates and they can pick who they send it to and say in chat something like "your secret Santa sent you something" and then it goes on to tell you want you got. But the things you buy only last one round (can be more just think its more fair). Also you can get more coins buy maybe getting knife kills or head shots or by getting a 360 NO-SCOPE xD
 
And about the presents maybe they have a lower drop rate and you can get a few things from them like say multiple coins not just one or shop-menu items and take a chance on getting lucky or you can 
donate them to "charity" and if you do that you can get in game money like 1000-2000-3000 dollars and with this money you could buy tomes and anything else you want  and maybe you can give presents away to someone RANDOM on the server so you don't keep sending them to 1 person and they can do anything they want with it.  
 
Again i don't know hard hard this will be or if its possible but iv'e asked a few people and they said "its not that bad" so i thought why not

EDIT:also we gotta stay with the basics and who ever got the most coins by the end can get a prize or lvl bank lvls OR just add a bouns xp to everyrace

The Deadly Decoy was in the Hotel window going towards General Store when I killed him from the other side of the store. The explosion killed me when I wasn't even close.

Ok, so this idea will require some plugin work, but seems possible.
 
At any time during the event period, a player can type !atr and being his attempt for the event.
 
Typing !atr sets your race to the first race in the server(Human Alliance) at the beginning of the next round.
 
Every time you get a kill, your race is changed to the next race in the race list, and weapon/item restrictions are applied. This continues on for the duration of the map, with a print to chat upon map finish stating the number of races completed and the current race.
 
Users will screenshot this print to avoid working with databases, and post the screenshots in a thread with an updated daily/hourly etc top 10 list. Top of the list at the end of the event will receive prizes.

So it's pretty much gun game for war3, but what this event rewards is skill, rather than playtime. Each attempt only lasts the duration of one map and the more people on the server means there is more room for advancement per round.
 
So it encourages good qualities in a week long competition while only rewarding those who play more with more attempts.

It's still magic damage but the damage on it stacks up very quickly so you probably can't just tank the full duration. It hits 25 times I think so the last 5 hits would be ~115 or so damage alone. Assuming you stood in it the whole time and were near the blade master.

I knew the ult went threw ult immunity but im not sure im pretty sure its still magic dmg @Face?

So last I knew Blademasters Ult dealt magic damage, and playing Angel of Light was a counter, or playing a race and buying Prismatic Signet was a counter because it would reduce the damage enough to survive the ult. Today playing Unholy Paladin with almost a full server, my 90% magic damage resist couldn't even begin to save me from a Blademaster ult. Did it's damage type get changed? Or did the recent change to the ult make it that much stronger?
