I know they needed Master Chief to talk more to show the relationship between him and Cortana.
But I was used to the more quiet and badass Chief. So I felt that he talked hell of a lot more than he should.
It's like his dialogue of Halo 1 through 3 combined into one game. I raged.

The original Portal is a fantastic game. It's isolated and perfect for what it has to be. The only thing people don't like about it is the fanbase and their relentless stupid "cake is a lie" jokes, which is something that should be hated on because it's obnoxious as fuck and ruins what was a tiny self-sufficient nugget of humor in the game completely.
