Trump has at no point in his life used his position as a politician to advance himself. The accusations and then subsequent proof that Hillary took foreign donations which is against FECA rules as well as the allegations that her State Department was pay to play through the Clinton Foundation is absolutely abhorrent. I've spent my entire life under Clinton and Bush. Obama is the first president I've had as someone who wasn't completely awful and conniving in their ways. Trump isn't a career politician, he's anti-establishment and its genuine because he's never been a politician in his life. Trump isn't funded by the Koch Brothers.

 

His policy views are fucked and his scandals suck. But none of them happened with him as a sitting president or government figure, all as a private citizen.

 

Trump sucks, Hillary sucks more and is more than likely corrupt.

The problem with the system is if you get elected, you're going to want to keep the system in place that allowed you to win.

 

Trump won't change a thing about the electoral system if elected. Does he even have a plan put in place as to how he could change it? I honestly haven't looked because most of the shit he says doesn't have much weight to it other than empty promises.

This campaign, above all others, demonstrates to Americans why a two party system is detrimental to our democracy. If Clinton is elected, people stop holding their breath and nothing changes. If trump is elected, despite this long drawn out process of screening candidates, both political parties lose face, and people consider third parties and independents. Every candidate this cycle sucks, not just the main parties. Stein and Johnson are loons, Hillary is corrupt and Trump is outlandish. But when 2020 rolls around and a trump presidency lingers, I'd take stupid bets on a third party candidate being a possibility in the general.

There's no doubt the politicians know about the role that mass media plays into an election. Hell it might be the only important thing nowadays due to the fact that this election has literally just become a highschoolers popularity contest.

Most of the "minority" groups you reference is the same group Trump references that he wants to deport. Trump never said he wants to stop all immigration 100% he said he wanted more thorough screening and to DEPORT EVERY ILLEGAL which I agree with. You want to play in the in country come legally. No the minority groups I'm referencing are blacks(the idiot supports stop and frisk despite it being unconstitutional and based around racial profiling), legal latinos who have seen themselves being the targets of hate from trump supporters who seem to believe any latino that protests against him is illegal, and those of middle eastern descent who have seen hate for them skyrocket since trump started running and supporting the retarded and unconstitutional idea of banning muslim immigration. Also tell me you could live with the economic effects of every illegal being deported which would demolish our agricultural industry and make food prices skyrocket.  I don't even like Hillary I just believe in supporting the person who has policies you can actually analyze unlike trump who hasn't explained how he would do half his ideas such as paying for the wall, destroying ISIS(which is already being destroyed as we speak in Iraq)  and replacing Obamacare without a single word on what hes going to do about that. Trump supporters can't seem to understand that the reason we have food relatively cheap in America is that we have illegal immigrants growing it. Deporting them would collapse the agricultural industry and send a ripple effect throughout our economy.
