About Yourself: I play an assortment of games with most of everyone and am enjoyable to be around. Pretty chill guy, interested in computer science and space. My name is from a night when I had this popcorn called Jiffy Pop, you cook it on the stove, pretty bomb.

First off, make sure you're well versed in reporting abusive players (ex. Mic Spammers, Admins, Hackers etc...)
• Have FIVE referrals from Level 2 Clan members or above.
• Have to have at least 2 week of forum time and 25 posts.
• Have at least 50 hours of playtime on the Syndicate Gamers Servers.

After doing so you will be ready to move on. The first phase of recruitment requires that you be screened by a staff member. In order to do so, you will need to add one of the following and ask them (if available and willing) to screen you. Please add your "in-game name" and "Preferred Server" in the add friend comment, as to avoid confusion. This is not necessary, but highly, highly appreciated.

Question 1: If there was a microphone spammer on the server, how would you deal with it? What if you ran into a hacker?

First I'd ask him to stop mic spamming, if that doesn't do, i'd go to an admin to mute him, or if the worst comes, record a demo and report him.

Question 2: What would you tell someone else who shows interest in joining sG?
Make an introduction on the forums and let people know who you are first.

Question 3: Would you consider yourself a mature person? If so, why?
Yes I'd consider myself mature, at times I can crack a few memes.

Question 4: Why is it that you want to join the sG community? How often will you be on the sG servers and forums?
I want to join the community to help out on the servers, especially minigames, and I will most likely be on mostly everyday after school/work.

Question 5: Do you fully agree with the terms and conditions specified in the recruitment thread?
Of course.

Question 6: Have you ever received disciplinary action from the sG staff? If yes, why?
Nope.

Question 7: Have you ever been a member in sG before or tried to become one? If so, why did you leave/get denied?
Yes, I used to be a community member, until it was revoked due to a ban.

Overall I'm a pretty layed back person that accepts anyone for who they are. I play basically every server there is. Computers are my passion and I aspire to one day make a living off of it. My name is after the popcorn not the lube, peanut butter, or whatever else you can think of. You have met the prerequisites to move onto the next step of the recruitment process. Your status will be changed to reflect that of a recruit. First Staff will vote for exactly one week, then your application will be moved into Pending Recruits. For the rest of the month, during sGr period the whole community will be watching you. C'mon now... take the time to fill it out properly rather than rushing through it.

 

I'd rather hear your honest answer as to why you got banned rather than a "Nope" or a one-liner response.

 

Community members should be fully informed prior to voting and that is the reason for the screening (if done properly).

 

 

Jiffy sent me the updated screening -- I'm satisfied with the answers.

Yes, I was permanently banned from sG servers for using a program called Autohotkey to allow me to spam spacebar, which of course would be considered a "script."

I personally have no issues with you and always have a good time playing CS with you. Getting Autohotkey was certainly a mistake but I'm willing to look past it because I think you're a good dude.
