Do You Even Lift?

Recommended Posts

Lol, the only lift I can do proficiently due to my shoulder problems (quite severe) is the power clean which isn't even a power lift. both power clean and hang clean about 225 which is very weak.

I do endurance exercises not strength. As a long distance runner it's way more important for me to be able to run for miles and miles rather than to run sprints at a high speed. If we want to talk mile time however, my average pace is 4:45. My fastest was 4:38 and that was when I still put all my effort into it. I couldn't do that now.

I haven't tried any one-rep max's in a very long time, so I couldn't be accurate.

I could tell you my routine and weights though.

Nice mile time. I do crew, and we run a little and my best mile time is 7:00. during rowing we have to row either 1.5k, or 6k, so we do some long distance training for the 6k.

I'm going to post videos for deadpool on my workout routines, I'll save this thread and post them here ;)

265 Bench max full rep

315 ass to ground squat

415 deadlift

5 lbs away from thousand lb club

imo nothing should be considered a REP until you do a full rep, meaning you go all the way down, none of that half ass/half way shit.
