Well it wasn't really a heated issue because lurkers would die to lightning chains for example.

The only time you should ban someone for race whoring is under multiple warnings and the warnings being ignored. Now that is under the race whore script and forcefully changing races under it to continue to whore. If it is true that spicy was not at the 24 kill mark then he wasn't whoring but close I'm sure.

Third person with good story... why am I thinking the Metal Gear series, I never even played all of them myself. I don't play too many third person games that have a heavy focus on story. Unless Skyrim fills the bill.

Back on WCS this race was very weak but it was worse than it is now for knife races. I don't remember if it had bonus damage or not back on WCS but scaling it down shouldn't be a issue. I remember the only way for two zombies to kill this race back on WCS was to hump the race with their aoe damaging expertise.

I don't know the duration on the root, but making it single target should be more than enough to balance the race. If not shorten the duration of the root?

We will live, not sure about the engineers they might die because of it.

As you just steps could have been taken... they are happening now and will last until the next time. Nothing will fix the problems of our little world. Far as I know the sanctions placed on Russia have/had crippled the Russian economy thus some of the reactionary statements focused the blame on the US. This is not even a US problem though.
