When suggesting a map, PLEASE try to find it first on http://gamebanana.com/. Downloading and keeping track of versions is much easier this way. If the map is only available on the workshop, you may post that link as a last resort.

But anyways for mapping i would highly recommend Tophattwaffle's videos, If you are serious about making good maps he has really good videos on what to do.  Most of his examples are in Portal 2 and CSGO but it should work for GMOD as well.

i literally provided you the stepping stone of how to map in gmod, it's not spam nor would i provide a virus openly on a public forum.
but since you're skeptical, ill copy and paste for you.

 
Go to Steam’s Library tab, then the Tools tab and launch the Source SDK. Select the engine version and game you want to use for your map. Launch Hammer, the level editor for Source: now start watching them youtube videos cause the road to making a functional map is a long one.
