Went to see it tonight. Late movie so no kids, just a solid group of college kids. The movie paced super well and had the same style and action as the original. The plot was hella similar but that didn't really take away from the movie. Comedy was top notch. Would see again.

Dead thread. 

I wouldn't say it's low. It was little different than the first movie and banked on excess meta jokes again. It was very consistent to the first one, though I def laughed more during the first. And even though there are times where deadpool acknowledges some lazy writing, it doesn't really make up for it literally being lazy writing. 

I will say that while I laughed more overall during the first, this one had moments resulting in bigger laughs if that makes sense. Case in point: legs. 

What'd you guys think of Deadpool 2?

I wasn't a fan of the final Gamora scene, seemed overplayed and poorly written. I don't think anyone was in the dark about what was to come next, except Gamora. I also wish Star Lord would have stuck his gun in Thanos's mouth, say something like "glove is almost off, drown in soap" thinking it was going to spit bubbles, but actually shot the energy blast this time. Then after, when he was turning into dust, he repeated over and over again "it was bubbles... I thought it was bubbles...I'm so sorry" bc he didn't really understand the reality stone's power. 

Would have made a lot more sense. Other than that, loved it.
