Well in this case even before disney the new clone wars show essentially erased the first. I can't remember any comics but he appears a bit in some of the later books from the old canon and actually teams up with the good guys and eventually becomes leader of the mandalorians and has a family etc. They make him more of a legit character especially during the vong war and second galactic civil war storylines in the old canon

Yeah, I've seen YouTube videos and such all about Boba Fett and his history (including canon). I just hope Disney doesn't kill off his character in the "Great Pit of Carkoon" from Epsiode 6. Hopefully, they'll continue his story (with also giving more background about his character) in the rumored Boba Fett solo movie in 2020!

One question I have is: has filming ended Episode 8? Did Carrie Fisher finish all of her scenes? or will they have to CGI her

      Reveal hidden contents

like they did in this movie or however they did that last scene.

According to the internet, yes she did! They finished filming in July, and are still in post production work:

  3. Episode 1 - A Phantom Menace

Episode 2 - Attack of the Clones

    The Clone Wars (TV Show)

Episode 3 - Revenge of the Sith

    Rebels (TV Show)

    Rouge One

    Episode 4 - A New Hope

Episode 5 - Empire Strikes Back (The best in my opinion)

Episode 6 - Return of the Jedi

Episode 7 - The Force Awakens

That should be the correct order. I don't know much about all the canon though, but Disney has pretty much removed all of that.

  4. I try to get on whenever I can. It's the Holidays though, man. Since most of us are off from our schooling, we still are busy buying gifts, hanging out with family, etc. I've been trying to get on as much as I can, but like Avenger said, most of us do have a life outside of video games. I do agree that the playtime for GMod SO's need to be brought up though.

I'm trying to explain what you are still not getting. Ok fine. Nigga is racist. If you are that arrogant to not understand what I'm trying to explain in the first place, which is NOT that if nigga is a racist term or not, then just forget it. I'm trying to explain that I only used it to say it wasn't racist, instead of saying "that word isn't racist" which I said the second time after coming back from getting kicked, but still got banned.

It doesn't matter whatever you think. You're playing on our servers, thus you play by our rules. No if, and, or butts. If an admin tells you saying the N word is racist, then it's racist. Don't argue and be a prick about it, and then maybe next time you won't get banned.

I didn't hear everyone's name enough to actually remember it, but I'm glad that Urso(?) and that Rebel Spy guy died. Would've been too cheesy or cliche if they found a way off. My biggest critic of the movie is that character development happened way too fast. The entire movie happened in the span of a few days (or so I thought) and the characters go off from hating each other to dying together while holding hands. It didn't bother me too much and I think the movie overall was great.

Agree, but when you think about it, they had to introduce all these characters really fast, and make them develop fast, so it is all just in one movie. I didn't feel I really "connected" with any of the new characters, but I feel the movie made me really connect more with the rebel alliance and what all they had to go through just to get the death star plans. We all knew that ultimately about everyone was going to die and @Tyrone remember to use the spam "Spoilers" when going to say something about the film.

Overall, I loved the movie! Obviously, the parts with Darth Vader were probably my favorite (especially the ending), as I'm sure it probably was with everyone. I can't say there was really much of anything that I didn't like about the movie, mainly because this was my first time so I'll probably need to see it a few more times before I can nit pick on anything, but as of now, I really can't think of much of anything that I didn't like about the movie. I loved the CGI characters of Captain Tarkin and Princess Leia. Obviously, they didn't look exactly perfect, but for CGI, I thought they did a great job. We knew this movie was going to tie in to A New Hope, but I didn't expect the ending to be tied in that quick. Which made the ending even more awesome for me because I got that surprise.

I threw up a thread when it was announced but yeah, I'm watching it Saturday. I'm excited for this movie, mainly because,

    Oh, my bad, man lol.

Darth Vader is supposed to be a legendary badass. He seems encumbered and robotic in the original movies, but in actuality, the dude is a whirlwind of death and fear. I want to see him be brutally and with all rawness unleashed.

And same! I hope we see the evil in Darth Vader that we're suppose to see, rather than Anikan killing younglings.

  9. I haven't noticed there being another topic about this upcoming movie, but is anyone excited about the new Star Wars movie, Rouge One?

From what I've gathered at my school, some people are excited, and some people aren't. I'm pretty hyped to see it. Mainly because I think I'll really enjoy the story of it, and how they were actually able to obtain the plans of the death star. I also will like the fact that it's just one movie, without needing any sequels to it, unless of course I guess you could count all the other Star Wars movies as it's prequels and sequels. Plus, it will be pretty cool getting to see Darth Vader again, and maybe just maybe even Boba Fett!

I plan on going Friday night to see it with a friend (even though it comes out Thursday for us).

    Thoughts?

Here's the trailer for those who haven't seen it:
