    Whats the difference though? Most of new guys don't know what he's done before unless finding out like in a thread like this. So its not as if he is giving sG a bad name to people outside of the older members. But his attitude and personality in game does shoe a positive for sG because he's always helpful, I've heard he used to be great at reporting hackers and rule breakers etc.

    I thought that was the point of distortion. As you say, the old skill used to just give tunnel vision but how does that help if they can still aim? If your going to do anything, I'd say leave the effects as they are just lower the chance of them happening, and the time it lasts for the lobotomy ultimate.

    Yea the fact that they can spawn so many barrels is stupid, I mean from a raised point, if he is hiding behind lots of barrels, you can only hit him for about 10 through another barrel, where as they can hit you clearly every shot.

    Even with this rule never being enforced, it was never a difficulty getting through the vent even when it was being camped... human alliance teleport straight through the vent, longjump spamming works. All that combined with flashes/smokes etc, there is no reason the CT's can't get through the vent while it's being camped.
     
    Silly rule is silly.

    Ok I restarted my computer yesterday, when I switched it back on I got a USB storage error. Basically the jist of it is, my computer is screwed. I am going to get it repaired ASAP so for now I'm going to have to settle for limited usage on my girlfriends laptop. This means I can still use forums for a little while a day, but my cs:s activity is going to drop a lot.
    I hope this doesn't effect my joining of the community, I'll let you know how I get on fixing the problem.
