With this change, you can build twig foundations/walls and ladders inside of someone's yard, potentially next to their house to climb up to their roof where you can easily blow down into. Just wait out the 6 months and appeal then, most first time offenders that I've seen have been approved pretty fast. From what I've seen of you, you're not a negative part of our population so an unban should be ezpz. The ban's mainly to show that we have 0 tolerance of cheating on our servers.

Yeah every admin deals with this in their own way, I like yours [=. Don't worry about it too much, the amount of people who don't actually understand all of the rules is pretty surprising.

I also play with voice_enable 0 for the same reasons as you. However the other players are not at fault when you die to this rule, nor should you complain when someone calls a KOS on you over the mic and you suddenly get shot out of the blue. It's on you if you don't want to hear other players.

Guy cites our rule and clings on to the "after a warning" clause for dear life, as if it somehow pardons him of any wrongdoings. The whole point of the warning is to show we don't just flat-out ban anyone for racism if they for some reason didn't read our rules. He's been banned 5 times before this for racism, so I'm pretty sure he knows he should watch what he says.

Like we don't have any of those in War 3.

What's unfair about it? The war3 mod opens up new cover and vantage points to maps -- learn them. Simply using them is just part of the mod. Even when we had maps that had areas where you were clearly out of the map, it took a stickler admin to invoke the out of boundaries slay on someone if the location didn't give a clear advantage (unlike this one which only provides a vantage point and prohibits your movement: you can only move to the left or forward.) CS:S cs_militia was fun AF.

The week was a bad week. We did manage to build up but the server was wiped on the 2nd day due to an exploit. We started up again after that but weren't able to get much done with the ddos'es.

Our primary issue is queue times -- 3 of our 20 players were the only ones in game for the first two hours. We've got two choices:

A) Start the village up on the 2nd or 3rd day of a wipe to avoid queues.

B) Swap to a 350 or 400 max players server.

The village can still grow strong; however, having the huge majority of us sitting in the queue only to get everything wiped was devastating for morale though. If people show enough interest to give it another shot, we can start up again on a server with a larger cap this wipe, we just gotta decide on a time to do so.

Guy leaves every door open. We kept noticing and and gave small badgering hints to close doors behind him but after some guys doorcamped inside our 2nd airlock, we really laid down the hammer on closing doors lol.

I'm looking for a good central server that has monthly wipes and a high-ish maximum amount of players on. 300 or even 350 would be amazing, but with the official list that I've seen, 200 might have to be settled on. I think New York 2 fits these requirements but if you guys know of any other good official servers, let me know.
