I guess? It still silly to me tho >.> We suppose to have fun with many different games not to be in fear by whore kill warden! *shrug

JB has had a history of strict wardens, and people trying to be like them (you may have heard of people like iCop) giving tricky commands which is where this type of thing came from. Sure, games are fun, but if a CT does this it's totally within the rules. The only thing is, we have a lot of idiot CTs who, like xmen pointed out, say a repeat different than the original order and not realize it - or something with a similar effect. Honestly, giving tricky - but not impossible - commands is keeping the rounds diverse. It makes Ts have to pay attention at all times, rather than mindlessly walking from one place to another.

No shit, it a frigging MFK

Both GO and go are same thing

Based on what he said, he is ok. He said when "I say go" then proceeded to type go. Ts need to pay attention, and he can kill them for just not following orders. Although he probably should reevaluate when literally every T misunderstands an order. I'll never kill all Ts in one order unless it's a game that kills them and it's out of my control (falling in hot lava climb, jump rope, etc.)

I personally believe that a 5x server in theory does sound more interesting, it will give the people who play more even more of an advantage. I voted for 1x because i personally love vanilla servers and with as low pop as it currently is, people will be raided day one and so on very easily and progression will all as much be stopped by whoever is the biggest clan. Personally i play alone or with rufus 90% of the time, so 5x does not appeal to me as our base would be very soon destroyed by anyone with over 4 people who are farming. I personally believe this would only help the larger clans, but i am open to opinions

I really don't get the few of you saying things like this? Sure they will gather 4x or 5x faster, but so will you. Your base should be 4-5x stronger, making it harder for them to raid. The people that it helps is the casual players that don't have the time to farm but would still like to build a base. For example, I love the game, but it takes me almost the entire two weeks to build a base that I am somewhat happy with - only to be wiped within a few days. If I could go on and in the first day or two have a base that I was happy with, I would come back to play more, raid, etc. and even if I get raided, I realize I can rebuild what was broken fairly quickly, whereas if I get raided now, there's no hope for me to rebuild with my lack of play time.

All im saying is that i think it should me vanilla because i already see people with aks and other good guns on first day and would like it if people would have pipes and crosss or bows on first day

Idk what vanilla server you've played on, but even when our server was set to vanilla, people still had guns and stuff the first day... It was even more frustrating for new players then, because they were just getting gunned down while naked just trying to make a hatchet.

  6. As per our discussion on slack, here are a few points I felt we could highlight in our reasoning for this poll, and to give those of you that are currently active on Rust some food for thought:

    • Casual players currently are deterred from playing as they can't keep up with those that have anywhere from 2-10+ times more time to play. We have quite a few people, including myself and other staff members willing to play more if we didn't have to grind so much. (RIP the life of summer vacations and gaming 10+ hours a day.)
    • New players are quickly frustrated with how much time it takes to get up and going
    • We don't want it to get too easy, deterring the more active/competitive players
    • We want to encourage people to be more OK with raiding and the possibility of being raided. Currently people are so afraid of losing everything that (from what I've heard) people often just don't raid.

We also have some exciting prospects of additions to the server. Not to leak anything, and nothing is set in stone, but I'm excited for some of the possibilities. One in particular, which should be no surprise, is that if rust does exceptionally well and we can increase population, is the possibility of having multiple servers. So, if a quicker gather server would increase population, we could potentially have that and a vanilla server in the future, but first we need to get our name out there better in the rust world.

Also @Roflstomp from what I've heard, the leveling system is still in dev, and "could be released soon™..." But that is a good option when it does come out, I love leveling system-based games.

War3.joinsg.net is working fine in your screen shot....

    Host:port

Same as always, you have specified host and left out port.

You realize 90% of people who play on our servers aren't technical enough to know that...

It would be nice if we could have it set to the default 27015...

I honestly find it funny when people try and tell me/others how their feeling based on text responses. I mean sometimes it can be very clear someone is upset/salty/tilted/whatever, but the majority of time (at least for people that can control their emotions) a text response isn't enough. I'm in no way butthurt, annoyed, triggered, angry, or any other synonym you could come up with by you, Yung Stew. Me calling you stupid is not because my butt is so sore from the posts that I've had to read. My head may hurt a little bit after some of the retarded things you've said, but that's about the extent of it.

I also don't think anyone here said that this community was here to get them anywhere in life. We play to have fun, which is what most of us are doing here - aside from maybe you, for which I don't understand why you stick around a place to waste your time attempting to troll (and this doesn't apply to just you, there's other people that fall into the similar category). Honestly, go out and find something you enjoy where others enjoy having you around. They might tolerate you in other gaming communities if you go there, or if you actually do care here, quit the crap and start being a little more mature and you can maybe get some opinions to change. Anyways, even the people who are staff, are just filling volunteer positions to try and help the community, keeping our servers and forums up for others enjoyment. None of us are here for a power trip. The average staff member is in their 20's, at least, and most of us are done with college (or close to being done) with an undergrad at least and on to our professional careers, so again, we're not here to get anything more than enjoyment. We like to play games, and we're here because we've found friends and servers we enjoy.

Also, saying you've only broke one rule is a pretty big understatement. This sums up what your infractions have been for:

    1. Your first was for racism, how you don't understand it was racism is beyond me.
    2. You got hit for multiple spam infractions - things like flaming anime in the anime section, or posting things about bikes and ninjas in the automotive section.
    3. You've received multiple trolling infractions - you've admitted that's all you're trying to do, so I don't know what you expect. We have rules against excessive trolling, so the more you continue, the closer it'll get to a permanent ban. Also the more you continue, the easier it is to just click that infract button for staff... It gets old, and honestly some of your posts by themselves probably wouldn't warrant an infraction to most members. But the problem is you keep going, and it's literally all you're trying to do - again, there's a rule about excessive trolling...

To be honest I debated even writing this post, because you might just take it as you got another response out of someone. I figured if it's that unclear to you what you've done wrong, and what assumptions your making that are wrong, I'd give it one shot...

EDIT: Also, this (only have to watch about 10 seconds) is how most trolls are anymore (but actually think they are trolling)...
