Battlefront 2 ( The good one ) has multiplayer again so let's get a server

Read topic name. This would be epic to jump in and get a sG server. It's perfect for us. Team based game with custom servers.  Let's make a server wkth a good mix of classic and modded maps and we're set

To be fair, how is this any different from custom TTT? We got that up and running after years of bitching for it. The server's been dead for about a week now. And we all have Garry's Mod... Our playerbase would greater be reduced on BF2

Partially because bf2  is basically a brand new game in a way so we have the potential to get in the market early and get a solid player base before and other big clans snag it

because it doesnt matter how many sG members play a server, its how many randoms do. 

 

Its too late to jump on the gmod bandwagon, people that play gmod already know what server they want to play on cause the games been out forever

Could be wrong but i  also think bf2  online has the option for bots so it's much easier to get randoms  in to populate and make up for low pop times

I’d look more into it, but as other members have mentioned, it would be a waste of time to go through all the effort to setup a server, and then no one play on it besides the first few weeks it’s up.

 

Edit: I do love playing BF2 and I would love to have a server, but I just don’t know if we’d have enough people to support it and actually play it.

As of now gog nor steam have dedicated server support, they are "working on it". And trying to play multiplayer unless the user server is located in your area its not going to let you connect unless you are lucky asf.
