America dropped a MOAB.

I guess you could say America got a 25 kill streak! FeelsAmazingMan

Yea but the best way to get a MOAB is using the specialist point-streak which gives you every the perk in the game including Hard-line which reduces kill-streak requirements by one which includes the MOAB so it would most likely be 24 kills not 25.

If you have specialist on and you get a MOAB, then you for sure only got 24 kills, because you would have had to get hardline because (I believe) at around 7 straight kills is when you get every perk!

basically a  small nuke

Nope.

but we did have small nukes that where 10 ton which is around what the MOAB does. however, they were stupid when you can get that yield with carpet bombing or now with just 1 MOAB. So I see what you mean as nukes are typically thought of in the megaton range.

MOABs create over pressure, which causes relatively little surface damage relative to other bombs while collapsing the caves and tunnels under the one mile surface area. The comparison to a nuke is a huge exaggeration and one that shouldn't be taken seriously.

Assuming this is going to solve anything is a bit naive. You can "bomb the shit out of them" but you'll never ever get rid of all of them.

It's a war of ideas and you don't solve the crisis by using a MOAB. It's a bandaid solution to a gaping wound.

I'm more concerned that this show of force was more expensive than it was worth. Sure, 36 at least 90 ISIS soldiers have died, a cave system they used was caved in and this attack in itself isn't going to be enough to turn someone into a terrorist. But it was at a cost of $16 million dollars and there are still around 600 to 800 ISIS fighters left to in the region. There are obviously many more cave constructs being used by militant groups and you certainly can't wipe them all off the face of planet with bombing raids. It doesn't at all address the root causes of terrorism.

I would be very surprised if ISIS or any other hostile group couldn't quickly replenish their loses by recruiting those who have lost family or friends to US air or drone strikes with propaganda. Trump obviously isn't the root cause of all of this, but his rhetoric is only making things worse. He's making it far too easy for these groups to depict the west as an enemy to Islam. The whole "we need to kill their families thing" that can be replayed obviously doesn't depict someone who genuinely cares about liberating populations from terrorists.

It really shows how basic trump's military strategy and political strategy are when he makes this a really big deal.  It was probably a ploy to improve ratings after that Syrian air strike.  Also compensating for something?

I would say this really didn't cost anything, the money was spent long ago to make that bomb, what is the sense in having all these bombs laying around that have already been paid for over the years and not use them? This bomb was specifically made for canyons / tunnels, so I wouldn't really say it was overkill either. I would rather bomb a remote mountain than send in troops anywhere. If Trump would have sent in troops that would have created a metric shit storm as people who voted for him did not sign up for that as well as the left being well... the left as usual.

I do agree they most certainly use this as persuasion for new members, you can say it holds an opposite affect as well. Just like with the Syria air strike the other week, many leaders around the world and people in Syria praised Trump for taking out chemical weapons. So you could argue this is giving them hope in a sense.

Trump is taking advantage of the situation here, he wants to have a dick measuring contest and he wants everyone to know how big or small it is, simply because he wants to make it clear, he will not take shit from anyone, and he will use EXCESSIVE force if he deems so. Obama made idle threats, while Trump simply will not put up with anything. Which I think is what America needs.

All in all, I think Trump is on the right path here and knows exactly what hes doing and is in the best interest of our country, and our allied countries. Though im biased as I support him, so take this however you want haha.

Dont worry guys, as Donald Trump keep unlocking all the new weapons as he levels up, we all know he HAS to try them out.

I wonder how much xp he got for this one? The Syria one seemed to have leveled him up quite alot. Maybe this was a killstreak reward?

Cant wait for tactical nuke.

*sigh*
