So Hello... I was in a teamspeak and @Revöker and @badbie were arguing which Graphics card was better and I wasn't sure which to get.

If I was getting the AMD side, I would choose https://www.amazon.com/MSI-Radeon-RX-480-ARMOR/dp/B01M368YOU/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1484388055&sr=8-2&keywords=RX+480+4+GB

IF i was getting NVIDIA,  I would choose https://www.amazon.com/Gigabyte-GeForce-Windforce-Graphics-GV-N1060WF2OC-3GD/dp/B01KQUDE2Y/ref=sr_1_1?s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1484390805&sr=1-1&keywords=gtx+1060+3gb

In conclusion, I would like to know which one is better/ your opinion, which would help me with my build thank you!

I'd wait for AMD's next release and then get a card :), if you are not going to wait I'd go for the AyyMD

He's at the $200 range, i doubt Vega will be in that range, although the lower end cards could be.

If I were getting either card, I would save a bit of cash and buy either card with more vram. I love my 1060 6gb and really like the extra vram it has.

IF you were to get a 1060 don't get the 3gb version. It's just a gimped version of the 6GB one.

If you always want to have maxed out settings go with the rx 480 due to more vram. You could also get a cheaper rx470 which is only slightly weaker than a 480.

Since your budget is around 200 I personally suggest this, your two choices are solid, but I personally would lean towards the 480.

I ordered a RX 480 8GB for $234.99 from amazon yesterday 'cause i'm a cheap ass. I currently have a HD 7950.  I should be getting it in tomorrow (B/c amazon prime) and I'll let you know how much I like it.

Linustechtips has a couple videos about the 480.

Here's the one I ordered:

Here's a comparison of the RX480 and 1060

RX480 is not a bad card.

Went from 10-15 FPS on rust at full settings with my AMD R7950 to 60-70ish with the RX480. Only problem I had was AMD's software (new version of CCC (Catalyst Control  Center) that is no longer CCC.. can't remember the name of it) would not let me adjust the brightness, contrast, saturation etc. I had to install the final version of CCC in conjunction with manually installing the newest video driver through windows. It's really fucking stupid. But other than that, I like it. Also the OC software that came with the card is broken.. GG china
