Might not be able to

Recommended Posts

Tomorrow I'll be heading to Texas for three months to do some training.

From what I hear the rooms dont even have AC, so I doubt they'll have internet.

Could be inactive anywhere from a week to the full three months.

GL, don't worry about the whole A/C thing if you're only going to be down here for 3 months, this time of year is usually really nice.

Update:

So the first place I stayed in had no AC and the WiFi was like 4 down and .5 up.

I moved off base into a hotel and the internet is decent.

Expect to see me no later than this weekend!

I'm pretty swamped with coursework right now.

4 megabits per sec and implying it's bad?! Shit, I remember back in the day when I was happy to see 100 kb/s download rates. I distinctly remember finding out one day that our rates moved up to 300 kb/s -- o baby what a day that was.

Back in my day, the internet used to make beep boop noises trying to get online. If you were always online, then you couldn't get a call from Family Video saying your VHS is overdue but you don't have the time to rewind it and bring it back in your Honda Civic because the newest episode of Seinfeld is coming up soon.

On a public shared WiFi? I can pretty much just browse the internet.
