Soft vs. Hard mousepad

Which do you believe is better for gaming, personal use, etc. What are you currently using.

Hard pad works for me. I haven't ever had any issues with it. I think a lot of it comes down to your own personal comfort too. From what I've heard, some mice have sensors that may work more efficiently on hard pads, but I have no evidence to back that up.. but for me personally I think it comes down to comfort and hard pads have always been more comfortable then soft ones for me.

As long as it doesn't move on you. It shouldn't matter if its hard or soft. I just like to make sure it's big enough so I don't worry about running out of room.

depends on the sensor in your mouse, illumination method, and sensitivity. duh!

I personally think hard pads are a bit much. Especially with my mouse, it just slides everywhere. I just bought my self a QcK+ and its been perfect.

I love it because it looks nice with my keyboard and mouse on top of it. It also gives plenty of room for my mouse when i need to do quick turns and stuff.

Always prefer hardpads over softpads. In my opinion the ease of the glide is really important to have good twitch aim and quick response times.

I use a soft but for me it really doesn't matter I got the one I use now for free.
