  1. Tbh, this happens to me a lot, especially when I was younger.  I only have them 3-4 times a week now.  When I was younger, I use to just create stories while sleeping; I called them episodes.  Now I have been working on trying to stop thinking its dream in my dream, which makes the lucid dream last longer (if that makes any sense?).  It's all about recognizing that it is a dream (which usually happens immediately for me) and not waking up because of that.

Yup. I had one this morning and was trying to stay aware but everything was so real. Like literally, the people who were there were so similar to the people I know IRL, couldn't keep hold of my lucidity for very long before going back into a normal dream.

  2. This sounds like the one nightmare I was having (forgot what it was about) when something scared the shit out of me, I remember trying to wake myself up while being able to open my eyes and look around my room, but I couldn't move anything and I was in like a dream limbo..

or another time I dreamed that I was in my house, but there was an extra door that wasn't actually there in real life. I went into the door and walked down a hall way that didn't exist. Then someone woke me up.

Also, anyone ever notice you have 360 degree vision in your dreams? Some wacky shit. You can look all around you and see everything at the same time without even focusing on it. If you have a nightmare, it helps to think that when your running from something and you don't see it anymore, it no longer exists in your dream..

I had a dream that I was walking down the street in the neighborhood I used to live in. I turned a corner and came upon slenderman.. with a giant black thin-legged spider-crab body. He slowly turned his blank face towards me, then I woke up by yelling. Sounds dumb as hell but I was scared shitless. It felt real.

I hate them kinda nightmares. I had one when I was younger that I was at the bottom of my school stairs, they were quite long in width and there was a corner at the end which blocked your view from the stairs. I was walking down them and for some reason a red tint was coming off them, then suddenly I hear a large thud at the top of the stairs, I quickly run down to the corner blocking the view of the stairs, and then I hear something walking down the stairs with very creepy music playing (for some reason), then I slowly look around the corner for a Chucky-like figure to jump towards my face for me to be woken up screaming and  crying (I was like 6 at the time lol). Will never forget that dream, still gives me the creeps today just thinking about it.

  3. Tried this and Ive never been able to do it.

It's quite confusing when you first start, my sister is the one that showed me it and she had been reading about it for months and didn't have one, still do this day she hasn't gotten one.

Took me around a month of practice and hours upon hours of every night reading about it, once you get that into it you don't realize how much your taking notice, and at one point it will start coming into your dreams. At least this was the case for me, so whenever I wan't one I just look it up and read about it for a couple of hours, do some practice and meditation (sounds stupid but it works) before bed, then sleep.

Your best bet is to read about it. I've found the best time to do it is in the morning when you wake up, get an alarm of some sort which will remind you that you want to lucid dream so you don't get up, set it to turn off after around 10 seconds, don't move out of the position you waked up from, close your eyes and picture your lucid in your own landscape (literally you can make one), within 10-15 seconds you'll be in your own made LD.

There's more to it than that though such as keeping in contact with the conscious part of your brain etc, I suggest you look it up it's called the "WILD" technique (Wake Induced Lucid Dream)

  4. Lucid dreaming seems scary as fuck. So I haven't tried.

Nothing scary about them once your in them, though when you first do become lucid you usually wake up after a few seconds because you get too excited

  5. I have heard of this, but never (to my knowlage) had one.  The closest (and maybe this is the same thing), but when you are just about to wake up, you have the state where you are still dreaming, but your mind is active and you can kinda control whats happening, but only partially.... Then like 10 minutes later you finally fully wake up.....

This happened to me a lot more when I was younger, not it doesn't happen all that often, unfortunate, because it's kinda fun.

Edit: Going one step further, have you ever tried to sleep, while lucid dreaming,  And go into a lucid dream of a lucid dream, kinda like inception style.  I would love to know if this was possible.....

If you mean go into another lucid dream from a lucid dream, it's possible.

Really confused about what a lucid dream is. I had dreams that seem to predict the future, not sure if that counts as a lucid dream. I might sound insane but some of them seem to happen (or going to happen).

The first noticeable dream that I had seemed to predict the Japanese Tsunami/Earthquake disaster in 2011. A few weeks earlier, I had a dream that I seem to look

like a girl wearing a kimono and that I was somewhere in Japan (judging from the stereotypical house designs), the area was getting wiped out by a tsunami. I woke up before I tripped and drowned due to the water. Apparently I was sweating when I woke up.

The most recent dream that are like these "predictions" is that I was crying due to my entire life changing about realizing that I'm gay and that I fell in love with a guy in which is the only friend that I have honestly. For crying out loud, it happened a few days later. I sobbed into a pillow when I before I went to sleep instead of full-fledged crying. No, my friend and I are not a gay couple as of right now.

These dreams are seem so real that I can remember every detail from it, I also partially lost my insanity for a few hours.

If you dream about it, it just means your probably curious. It's in the back of your mind and so you dream about it.

  6. Want to get peoples takes on this. Is anyone else in this community a Lucid Dreamer? If so, share them here! I personally have only had around 10 but every time I get a new amazing feeling and learn something different about myself.

Don't know what Lucid Dreaming is? It's where you are consciously awake in your dreams. Meaning you can control them. Don't believe me? Look it up. You can literally do anything. (Scientifically proven)

    I'll start...

I was at this fairground place with my friends. We were running until we reached a load of steps, and when I went to walk down I just kept floating forward. Since I've got a phobia of heights I got quite scared, and thus triggering my Lucidity. I starting falling, getting butterflies which I love, and from a fall like this IRL you would definitely break your legs, but I just landed. No pain, no nothing. I got up and looked in front of me, and I was in my home town. I looked behind me to see if my friends were still there but nope. The whole dream scenario changed, taking away all the characters I was with before hand and replacing them with new ones I didn't know. I was quite excited since I was walking myself, so I took time to calm myself down and increase my awareness. When I was calm enough, I wanted a challenge. So I said to myself I'll fly to the top of a building. Now I was quite scared since fears often come into Lucid Dreams, but I decided to give it a shot. So I said to myself in my dream-head, I will fly. I will go to the top of that building. Then I jumped and started floating not far off the ground. I started spinning slowly upside down and got really scared since I hate looking upside down when I'm at a height. When I got scared, I started floating upwards. I tried grabbing a lampost but my hands were like soap and just slipped right off. At this point I was quite terrified so I closed my eyes, and with that I was transported into a different dream which involved Scarlett Johansson and no lucidity (Unfortunately ;)

One of the many interesting lucid dreams I've had. Had your own? Share them here!

I suggest going to this site if you want to learn more about Lucid Dreaming or how you can become one yourself. Took me just over a month to get my first LD.

  7. Wow that looked awesome only problem was I had no clue what was going on haha. I will be watching it anyways.

You should watch the other x-men's they're great :)

As for this one I think it's gonna be good too, excited to see it!

  8. you can become a paidmin and enforce all those rules you see other's breaking. we can surely use some european timezone admins!

    How much?

    EDIT: Nvm found the page.

  9. If you read the source then you'd know that the most common detected hack now is Chods.

    And ILC & FPS.

Since 93% of hacksites use public code, they get detected pretty easily and commonly...

Chod's is a great way to get banned since 99% of the features will just get you reported/banned

    --

Hacking takes the fun out of the competitive side of CSGO imo...

#inb4 i go on to find a ban...nope im good

highly suggest you stay away from the likes of chods, x22, ilc, fps etc ... all use similar code which = a ban very commonly

  10. You obviously misunderstood what I said, so let me repeat. Terrorist's(Prisoners) probably don't have as much fun as other Terrorist's I certainly don't have any fun because of the killwhores who infest the server and people like you who don't have any imagination. Read this carefully: YOU DO NOT NEED THINGS OR PLACES ON A MAP TO MAKE IT FUN. If you have no imagination that is your problem. I remember playing vanilla maps with a big cage, a solitary, a medic, and a armory, and it was perfectly fine because people could think of things such as gun toss or simon says(There is many many more ideas but I'm not going to list more). Do you even know how to be a effective warden?

Did you understand this time? I can dumb it down if you want me to.

Yeah, I know how to warden just fine even on maps like this. However, your taking one of the reasons I said this map isn't made well and making it huge. It's the fact that everytime I spawn in as a CT I get lots of lag, in which I can't get to a stable position to be able to kill the rebelling T's, which then ruins the round.

I'm not a spastic and would really appreciate if you stopped treating me as one, I came here to place my opinion and a question not for you to give me a lecture on how you remember JB being, I can remember all the fun stuff too like Isengard day, Pirate day, lava day, follow the leader etc. All great games but it would make things a lot easier if there was more pre-built stuff to do in such a tightly compact area.

Anyways it was already denied so this thread can be closed.

  11. Alrighty, T's get killed alot and most of the time get killwhored which makes it not fun for them. Maybe this is the fun map JB needs to get T's to actually have fun instead of being bored for hours because of one monotone warden who doesn't know what he is doing.

TL;DR T's need to have fun too.

I'm not saying they're having too much fun, I'm saying it's too one-sided, there's a difference, you obviously don't understand what I said. And last time I checked "Having fun" meant doing fun games (which the map lacks).

  12. Teleport?

Or do you just mean that they can open the door from inside the cell and if you give orders and get out of armory you can prevent them from climbing the ladder easily.

I don't recall there being a teleport entity anywhere near vip.

The only teleporter for armory is located in the vent cell.

Yeah that's what I meant sorry about that, the fact that T's can open the cell which can hold 3 (if I recall correctly) t's before ct's have gotten weapons etc they will easily be able to get up the ladder and wait for enough ct's to leave before jumping down, it's stupid that someone would make a cell be able to be opened from inside a cell, come on man that's just....

With permission I'd go on and fix it up to try and make it a bit better, but the overall "foundation" for this map made it extremely one-sided

edit: just went in and checked and it's actually four people can be let out of their cell before the CT's have given orders to let all the other T's out

  13. In my experience that has more to do with CTs not giving orders and/or freekilling.

Nah there's a lot of CT's that give clear orders, it's just that the t's have way too much advantages. There's a teleport behind VIP that enable's T's to get into armory easily and it's very compact which means the CT's can get shot easily, it's the definition of a poorly made map.

And in my experience all it does is induce lag and make people leave.

  14. This is probably about something he uses:

One that doesn't snap, but instead leads itself to the target hitbox. In essence, a 'subtle' aimbot. He probably toggles it on and off given how slowly he tends to walk with a deagle when he's peaking corners. Honestly, my friend knows a lot more about aimbots than I do, so I just get all of this shit from him. I'm probably semi-wrong about some of what I say, so take what I say with a grain of rice.

It's called a silent aimbot which means you can fire anywhere near the target but packets will get sent to the designated hitzone which is most commonly the head, which has recently been "upgraded" so it looks even more legit than it used to, if he's being any way subtle though he won't be using aimbot, possibly a triggerbot (automatically shoots once the crosshair is over a player)
