I much prefer server 2, it looks better, the races are more fun. The fact I'm a higher level than on #1 has nothing to do with it I'm on all the time so I'm ready for a re-population attempt.

Why are admins even given the mute or unmute power in that server if this is such a problem? If you want the problem resolved effectively, just remove the unmute power from admins.

Well thats the thing, its not saying anything. It says in chat the normal pop up it should when it respawns you. Like "you have been respawned, along with your items" but you don't actually respawn, you just stay dead. I don't think its es_tools but it may be a line in a cfg that I have changed by accident, just don't know what it is.

To tell you the truth I'm not familiar with it at all to be honest.
I have had several wcs servers in the past, and the respawns have never been an issue, and I assume I've installed them all the same.

I actually downloaded that right after my last post yiyas, but thanks for confirming I downloaded the right thing. Once Audio mentioned est_respawn, it made me realize that I had no idea what I was doing, so I googled it and the eventscripts website was the first one.

I thought that was the point of distortion. As you say, the old skill used to just give tunnel vision but how does that help if they can still aim? If your going to do anything, I'd say leave the effects as they are just lower the chance of them happening, and the time it lasts for the lobotomy ultimate.

Same Vosh, I think the new banish is fine. Its not easy to kill people whilst banished now. Before it was just a waste of a skill because it was still so easy to kill people through.

Isn't there a way to set the time of the warping, because if it only warps in/out once per banish that would save a lot of hassle.

I disagree, even the normal players without admin, such as myself, enforce the rule. We always manage to get the race whores to change out their race with out any quarrels.

Yea the fact that they can spawn so many barrels is stupid, I mean from a raised point, if he is hiding behind lots of barrels, you can only hit him for about 10 through another barrel, where as they can hit you clearly every shot.

Thread name kind of speaks for itself, but I seriously miss the dd2 server and I think we should seriously consider bringing it back!

Well the server can have forced skins so that all the models will be default.
