I'm still waiting for an answer. How do I change the appearance of an app I haven't created. How do I alter the colors, text, and graphics used in the app?
Xposed framework probably. Or you can deodex the app and theme it from there. XDA-Developers has some custom themed apps.
Also, the reason iOS apps seem to run faster is because the way processes are prioritized. On iOS, the "drawing" process for applications is prioritized above EVERYTHING (including the main OS processes). While this may look good to the user, it can cause other problems.

Went through and cleaned up all the off-topic and flaming bullshit in this thread. I am really eye'ing the surface 2. The surface pro 3 may be just a little much (money and power wise).
-
I'd wait till the surface 3 comes out, thinking about getting it myself.
Yeah I just noticed that they are announcing the Surface 3 tomorrow lol.

Don't let it replace your laptop. There are some key things tablets can't do. If you need it for college or work keep a laptop handy
I'll still have my laptop if I need it. But I mostly use my desktop for work/school.
-
I'm really thinking about getting a tablet from my parents for graduation but am not sure what the best options are out there, since I never really follow the tablet scene. My laptop is kind of dying out and I want something I can browse the internet, do cool shit and stuff while watching tv, pooping, etc. I refuse to get an iPad. I've been eyeing the Windows Surface or ASUS Transformer because they seem pretty nice, but idk.
As for Android, the Nexus 7 is probably one of the better choices but I was wanting a screen a little bigger than 7". Also, I'm worried using the tablet will just feel like using a big version of my phone.
Do you guys have any suggestions or experiences?

I'd say one of the biggest things encountered is eye strain with heavy and longterm computer usage. I know mine suffered and now I'm nearsighted lol

Closing this thread for new bugs/issue reports. Please use the new bug tracker located here (http://www.joinsg.net/tracker/project-2-warcraft-3/) to submit bugs. Also, if any issues posted in this thread still exist, please help out by posting them over on the tracker so we can manage them better and address them . I will leave this thread available for engineers to post minor changelogs.
-
While rebuilding ZE I thought it might be a good idea if we had an issue tracker. Rather than having to sift through random threads spread out over various forums, a bug/issue tracker with categories for each of our servers would be more productive. From here our users can easily post bugs they encounter and comment on other reports. We can then sort them in terms of status (confirmed, fixing, etc.) and severity (minor bug, game-breaking, etc.). Since we have several people that work on stuff over different servers, this will make it easier for us to keep track and actually know what still needs to be fixed.
You can access the bug tracker from the menu on the top or through this link: http://www.joinsg.net/tracker/
Please let me know (besides SOs) if you would like to help moderate the tracker. You would mainly help with confirming bugs that people post and/or categorizing them based on severity. And clearing the trash/trolling
So from now on, NO MORE POSTING BUGS ON THE FORUMS. Use the tracker.

Windows 8.1 is gr8. Honestly I don't even realize I'm not using Windows 7. I just use Start8 and turned off the metro shit and everything runs smooth. Better SSD utilization and it looks nice .

I just want to see how many people it worked on. Who all had their sG favorites automatically update to the new IP in their favorites window?

I hate to be a party pooper, but i don't think CSGO has persistent game server accounts.
If it does, I can only imagine it involves something similar to what TF2 has, which is:
"Added the server command "sv_setsteamaccount" for logging in with a persistent game server account using a login token. Login tokens may be acquired via the IGameServersService/CreateAccount web API. Using a login token is not required to run a game server, but allows Steam users to continue to access your game server from their favorites list if your game server changes IP in the future."
No new cvars for CSGO, though. It is possible that you can do this, though. However, I found nothing online about it for CSGO thus far.
That being said, it (probably?) exists for CSS.
I managed to hack together something with the help of a SourceMod extension to utilize the new persistent game server accounts in Steam. Even though there isn't a cvar set up for CS:GO specifically, I was able to force the servers to register their own "game server steam ID". Since this is a steamworks feature, it technically should work even though it hasn't been directly implemented in CS:GO just yet.

Host sG servers since we can't do that ourselves properly. /s
-
I don't know if the majority of you know this, but Valve just released a patch on Steam today that benefits us immensely on this ip change. A timely feature if you ask me.
- Added IP tracking to game server favorites. Favorites will automatically update to new server IP addresses if the game server is using a persistent account
If this is true it is a fucking game changer.
