Let me explain to you why this wouldn't work. The major thing here, we measure votes out of a x/50 basis, x can be any real number(lolmathreferences). Using the poll we would not get an overall of everything, it would be heavily disorganized and have numerous other issues. One of the major issues i'm suggesting is the fact that it will kill off recruitment threads. People are just going to go in, click a vote and leave or in some cases just leave without voting/not even open threads at all. There are members that base their opinions off of feedback, feedback that would not exist in this situation. You would have little to no discussion and people would either ignore the recruit or just blindly vote because of it. In the long run, people would probably just disappear much like how a server works. We don't want this, we want an active community that spends more than five seconds looking at a vote. People are inclined to read comments in recruitment threads and they usually span a few pages that can easily alter someones vote. If we go with this poll like you suggest then we would have a disorganized, silent and blind voting system. It's not broken and works well as is, we don't need to optimize anything if it's not a hindrance and working extremely well. Know that saying "Don't fix it if it ain't broken"? Yeah, apply that to this, because what you're suggesting would more than likely damage the system for a long time.

I'm wondering why applications are handled through posts and not polls.
 
Now, assuming the staff could implement a way so you could change your vote once ever 24 hours or something, the system would be better because:
 
- No more people voting yes or no strictly for vote count
- If staff are taking forever to add in their votes, the community can still get started on voting. If the staff vote is not reached, then the app will be pulled and votes will be nullified.
- This leaves the topic to not be spammed by votes. This would lead to people more easily posting good or bad things on a recruit's application.
 
Of course the voting system would be as it currently is, one for yes community, one for yes SO/VIP/LEG, and one for staff. Then there's a no choice for all votes as well.
 
This system sounds like a good idea to me, but I'd love for the community to discuss it with me.

Very solid map, designed for large groups. many open, large patios, but also many small corridors, nooks, and crannies. very suited for war3 play imo

The reason behind the racism rule is because people might be offended to racist terminology regardless of if its commonplace in today's society or not. We don't want to offend people. The same can be said about homophobic slurs, but that doesn't seem to be as much of an issue. Regardless, the underlying idea is to make everyone happy. If you don't like the system of appealing to everyone mutually, so be it. However, don't show your discontent here in a sarcastic manner.

If a CT sees a T enter the vent cell, can they chase them legitimately through the vent even though they didn't see them go through the vent itself?
Yes.
 
If you're following them around the map and all of a sudden they disappear and you see an open vent, you can't follow them into it.
On the other hand, if you see them run into vent cell and then disappear with an open vent there, you can follow them.
The argument between the two is that they could've gone other places on the map that you didn't see, and you could be ass raping a different T that went through the vent you found around the corner.
 
If the warden says hot lava is in effect, and a T falls and makes it back to the platform, are they KOS?

They're in the game and playing it. You don't kill people who can't get past a climb obstacle after 3 seconds. Wait 30 seconds and then shark them. Nobody wants to be the first one to go because there's a 67% chance of them dying. Having at least one person go before them gives them a 50/50 shot. They're not just doing it to detour and not follow the orders, they're just wanting a better chance at winning

You can not bait a T on a freeday. Baiting only applies to non-rebelling, non-freeday Ts. Special circumstances may apply for special LRs.

First off, make sure you're well versed in reporting abusive players (ex. Mic Spammers, Admins, Hackers etc...)
• Have FIVE referrals from Level 2 Clan members or above.
• Have to have at least 2 week of forum time and 25 posts.
• Have at least 25 hours of playtime on the Syndicate Gamers Servers.

After doing so you will be ready to move on. The first phase of recruitment requires that you be screened by a staff member. In order to do so, you will need to add one of the following and ask them (if available and willing) to screen you.
