Shadow, I'll not spend any more time trying to make you understand that the number of people who voted for Obama because of his race was less than the number who voted against him for that reason. You say that wasn't what you meant, I'll accept that and write it off as poor wording.
And I did mean that Obama was able to more closely relate to the lower classes. His rhetoric proves that, and his policies do as well. Utilizing empathy, seeing them as allies, instead of enemies as Mitt Romney did with his 47% statement, Barack Obama far and away is able to relate to the lower classes than Mitt Romney could ever dream of.
http://web.archive.org/web/20110429013125/http://www.whitehouse.gov/sites/default/files/rss_viewer/birth-certificate-long-form.pdf Here is the birth certificate. You've probably seen it before, and it probably won't change your mind, but I don't want anyone to think that argument has any credence.

Welp, time to move to Sweden before shit hits the fan. Lack of bipartisianship is going to kill us here as well as the inability to get the debt on track.

Our country was founded on the lack of bipartisanship. The founding fathers made government, specifically Congress to the extent where one party couldn't overwhelm and control the whole system and that is certainly the case here. The so called "lack" of bipartisanship has always been a key brick in the foundation of our nation's government and always will be. You can't use the "lack of bipartisanship" as a reason of the government's failure. Sure, bipartisanship would be nice getting america's economy back on track but it isn't really necessary. Economists already say that we're improving in terms of the economy. As long as the federal government plays their cards right, we could possibly fix the unemployment rates, the national annual defecits and the debts we owe. It's not a fast process but a long one that will take decades to resolve.
By the way, people seem to forget that Romney had a big hand in planning out Obamacare. He had an idea of his own, similar to Obama's but not the one Obama signed into action.

Black people have voted democratically forever. It's not always a race thing. Al Gore got 92 percent of the black vote in 2000; John Kerry got 88 percent in 2004. Even historically, the taller candidate has won the presidential election for decades, so, every person subconsciously votes based on appearance. If a man were to run for president and have piercings on his face he would likely get swept out before the polls opened in the west.
Nevermind, this seems to have been sorted out.

It is absolutely adorable that you actually think there are more voters out there who voted FOR the president simply because he is black than those who voted AGAINST him because of that same fact. I'm not sure where you're from, but here in the south I've seen terms like Nigger and Spade thrown around all the time to describe Barack Obama for the past 5 years. I've actively heard people say "I will never vote for a nigger for office." That entire swath of states from Montana, down to Texas, and then over to Georgia is chock full of racists chomping at the bit to "dethrone the nigger king" (a facebook quote from a recently unfriended "friend")
Minorities make up a larger portion of lower socioeconomic classes, which Mitt Romney simply can't relate to, and his policies offer far fewer benefits for them than Obama's. Young and well educated persons also tend to vote primarily democrat. So we have young, college attending black people. What reason would a significant number of young minorities have to vote for Mitt Romney? Just about zero.
PS, black people don't really care if you call them black. African American just takes too long to type out.
PPS: LOL! Shadow is a birther! Retard alert! If this is one of the "issues" you based your decision on, I would consider those 68/75 to be far better informed than you. Better to have little to no understanding than to be sucked in by lies, mistruths, and conspiracy theories. I bet you think Jeep is shipping jobs to China, too.

    I'll be voting for Obama.
Economically: He's got us on the up and up since inheriting the worst economic disaster since the Great Depression. Jobless rates are getting lower, deficit growth is slowing. Obama has a known economic plan. Mitt Romney's plan still doesn't make sense. It cuts taxes across the board, increases spending in areas where nobody is even asking for it (Defense budget) and doesn't logically provide for any way to reduce a deficit. Less coming in than going out means you're losing money. He's just whispering sweet nothings in everyone's ears.
Foreign Policy: I do not want a zionist in office. Last time we did, we got into two wars, one of which was entirely unjustified. With Iran-Israel tensions on the rise, I want nothing to do with that, and to have a president who says "WE DEFEND ISRAEL NO MATTER WHAT" is a mistake, especially after the human rights atrocities Israel commits against Palestine. We do not need to go to war for them, and I'm perfectly happy with how Obama has and has not interfered with the different parts of the Arab Spring.
Social: Romney is yet another in a long line of GOP candidates who would love nothing more than to shove his beliefs down the throats of Americans. Women's control over their body is a threat to this guy, especially when it comes to abortions. I don't care when you think a life begins, you don't have the right to dictate that to another person. Gay marriage is also a huge issue. Romney is against gay marriage, yet another area in which he thinks he can legislate the decisions and lives of others who are behaving in a manner that has no effect on him or anyone else. Keep Obama in, keep gay marriage rights on the right path.
Supreme Court: There is a possibility that the next president will get to nominate up to 4 supreme court justices. In the past, this wouldn't have been an issue, but since the Reagan years, the Supreme Court has been less about real unbiased justice or proper interpretation of constitutional values and more about political lines. I'm terrified of the constitutional misinterpretations an outright conservatively dominated supreme court may hand down. Gay rights? Unconstitutional. Roe V Wade? Overturned. Businesses? People (Oh wait...).
So those are my reasons. There are many things Obama has done wrong during his presidency (NDAA, wiretapping, etc..) but as much as I wish there was a perfect candidate for America out there, there isn't. This is the best we have. Romney has flip flopped all over the place, you can check the fact checker websites. He tailors his viewpoints to whoever is listening. Super neo-con during the primaries, suddenly moderate during debates. The man can't make up his own mind or stick to his guns, is he really the guy you want in the oval office?
