All your opinions of this race, goes here. Recently I found it really overpowered. Specially with the Katana which deals damage x2.

I just hate any knife race that one hit kills on a left or right click from the front end of story. But the ENG don't agree and your just going to get yapped at for saying its OP.

Remember, this race can desarm you and with the second of the gundrop cooldown, it will kill you, also this race is too squishy

The only reason I don't play Takeno much is because when you're playing him it's a game of "crit or die"

 

edit: Worth saying though, I don't think he's OP, but I wouldn't be opposed to rebalancing him to not crit 1 shot, maybe higher crit chance lower damage multiplier

Don't rebalance it that way Name. It works out the way it is now because for a knife race it has relatively low mobility, and it's invis outside of ult isn't that great. And the ult CD seems like it's in a good spot.  The only genuinely annoying part of the race is the disarm.

Outside of disarm, I've never died to a takeno and been thinking, "Damn you takeno!" Even then, the disarm is only a $2700-4750 minor inconvenience.

 

I've played Takeno but it is no where near as powerful as Savage. You just get annoyed more by Takeno because a) people may hide because he is invis and everyone hates "camping" and b) disarm.

 

I'd say it is a pretty middle of the road knife race.

Savage is more OP than takeno is. Takeno also can't kill quite a few races like ranger of the woods and things of that sort easily due to damage mitigation unless its incredibly lucky. The one shot kill is the way it deals with limited mobility where as other races such as nature wisp and savage can hop circles.

Takeno is good but nothing compared to a savage or troll. You are rarely going to see someone go 2:1 or better on any knife race anyways.

I would remove his disarm and the race would be fine. The problem is you got 60% to get disarmed on fist hit and then u dont have any chance left and he kill u.
