Today is/was election day in Germany

The final count isn´t in yet, but it shouldn´t really change anymore. It seems very likely at this point that we will have a second election.

This is the current situation:

CDU/CSU is Merkel's party they lost 8%; 41,5% in 2013

SPD has always been the second strongest and they are the socialist party and lost 5%; 25,7% in 2013

AFD are Nazis plain and simple they gained 9%; 4,7% in 2013

FDP is very similar to the CDU they gained 5%, 4,8% in 2013

Grüne "Green" they are an environmental party they gained 1%; 8,4% in 2013

Die Linke "The Left" to put it very simple the opposite of the Nazis they gained 0.3%; 8,6% in 2013

Sonstige Parteien are all those parties that couldn´t get more than 5% and therefore are not in the government.

Now to the problem why we probably will have a second election:

We need a coalition with a majority, but the SPD doesn´t want to make one with CDU again, so that falls flat.

Die Linke won´t do anything with FDP nor the CDU.

No one will do anything with the AFD except for the AFD. hehe

Die Grüne won´t do anything with the FDP so CDU Grüne FDP also falls flat.

Which leaves us with no other possibilties.

While they may not want to, this coalition is the devil they already know. Is the AFD the "populist" party of germany?

From what I've researched their entire platform is anti immigration of like any kind with a emphasis on being anti Islam. They're essentially far right nazis

While it may be the devil we already know, it is also the devil that got the SPD to their lowest percentage ever. That is why they have to go into the opposition now.

As for the AFD, they first became a party during the € crisis, they wanted to leave the EU and bring back "the german mark". Now during the refugee crisis they want to kick all refugees out, close our borders and they want to shoot at them. (Not even kidding they said that we should shoot at refugees at our borders even at kids)

In east germany the AFD received up to 50% of all votes.

Btw they were the first ones to scream FAKE NEWS / FAKE MEDIA.

And in a statement they blamed the sun for the climate change.
