Dealing with Gmod people

To start things off, i'm not making this post to hate on anyone or I don't like doing my job. I am currently a paidadmin on Gmod TTT (Central) and sometimes I am the only one on at the time that can deal with the following: racism,rdm,porno sprays, aimbot, headphone breaking screamers, and disrespect. Is it ok if I just want to play a couple rounds without handling reports (unless its serious). It just gets frustrating when I want to play the game too but the problems just stockpile. Thank you for reading this.

You aren't expected to police the server. That's up to the SO's. Your admin powers are for you to do as you choose, within reason. If you're the only admin on, enjoy the game if you want. Police if you want. Do it correctly and don't abuse, and you'll have fun.

It's okay to die at the beginning of a round so you can catch up on reports. I did that a lot because I had a strong focus on making sure the server ran smoothly.

I always felt the same way when I was a paidmin. 

 

 

Like Narwhals said, just because you're an "admin" doesn't mean you HAVE to keep the server under control. That's all up for the staff team to do.

When i was a paidmin i tried to do my best to keep up with the reports but when im the only admin on alot of things happen and it can overwelm you really quickly. i feel you

You could be a cool admin and just.. ignore the porn sprays.

I can totally relate!! Some days are calmer than others but eventually you'll have no problem dealing with everyone alone.

As a former admin on another server, I completely understand what dealing with these people are like. It isn't fun when you are the only admin on a server of 30 plus people and a fourth of the server is RDMing.
