Insecure mode CS:GO

Does anyone know why I all of a sudden keep getting this message when I don't launch CS:GO directly from steam library?

Well first launch it from steam and go to properties and verify your game files is all I have to say.

This is probably because you are launching it from your task bar. Open csgo from the app on your desktop or through you steam library

This is because if you launch CSGO outside of steam, they will not see your steam account. Valve can not confirm that you have bought the game and they can not vac ban you if you were to cheat.

I'm guessing you're talking about the desktop shortcut, make sure there aren't any launch properties set

 

right click the shortcut -> properties

Thank you guys for all the input. It helped me troubleshoot the problem and it is now resolved. I have to add that no one got the problem right.
