Christmas GMod TTT Event?

So I know the last TTT event we had was back in March, but I think it would be cool to have another GMod TTT Event maybe around Christmas time/Christmas break?

My break is from December 19th - January 4th.

 

I know we are still a couple of months away, but I just think it would be super cool to have another event on a time where everyone is off for school and I think Christmas would be perfect!

Any thoughts?

It's a good idea but it's way early for Christmas. Also making something for TTT is pointless.

There's no shop or points system

The server is well populated already

Only SO's are the only sG members who play

We had an event a few months ago in March and it seemed to go really well. People got rewarded for stuff like most Traitor kills, most knife kills, most playtime, and etc. It wasn't a thing to where just sG members got rewarded, but anyone who participated could get rewarded. Like Gunsmoking got the highest knife kills I believe.

So I think we should just do another event like that!

Edit: And the reason I think we should do it around Christmas break is because people are out for school and it gives the staffs time to think about how they want to do the event.

 

Edit #2: Also if one of the issues is the fact that Vanilla is already pretty populated, then why don't we make it just a TTT Custom Event? It might make some people actually play on Custom more for the event and then maybe they'll stick to Custom more then Vanilla?

That's not what happens at all, to Custom. A group of regulars will play on Custom, and because no new players actually get on the server, it's just them farming for achievements, essentially.

True I guess, but you never know. There might be one or two regulars on Vanilla who never tried Custom and then end up loving it. Then maybe they want to start playing more on Custom and so they decide to start inviting their friends.

I could be wrong, but you never know. I really bet there are some Vanilla regulars who have never tried Custom.

I pop on custom every no and then and I am used to the purple and black checkerboards and giant error signs. New people without css may not be so accepting. It's tough to populate TTT custom
