IDEA - sG Rocket League 3v3 Tournament

Would anyone be interested in having a Rocket League tournament? It could be unofficial as well and I wouldn't mind doing the planning for it either. We could just use the ingame Private Match mode with screenshots to prove who won. You would enter your team of 3, along with your team name. I'm just gauging who'd be interested.

Let me know if you are down.

What weekend would work for you?

I'm thinking Saturday, October 17th (during the day) and possibly Sunday, October 18th (if needed) would be best.


NOTE: This is not limited to sG members and you could bring your friends in on the fun (if you have any), maybe even introduce them to sG.

PLAYSTATION 4 users will be able to play as well!

We will do Best of 3s as well. Roughly 20 mins to complete each round.

 

Both teams will agree on the first match host. Then on the second match, it will switch to the opposing team to host. The final match (if needed) will go back to the original host.

 

It will likely be US-West or US-East.

It was free a couple months back, but it's not anymore.

I was lucky enough to download it when it was free so I do have Rocket Leauge on the PS4 and would love to do the tournament if we have one! (First I need to get actual internet at my house though)

Okay seeing the interest, I recommended Saturday, October 17th to play out the tournament. Sunday, October 18th if needed due to the amount of teams that sign up. Depending on the teams I will figure out what type of bracket it should be. Likely double-elim.

 

Tournament will start as early as 10am PST, 12pm CST, 1pm EST.

Absolutely. I've never been a big soccer or FIFA fan but Rocket League makes me so fucking anxious and competitive. It's a great game, I hope they continue to add updates, like different bonuses.
