CS:GO HIDE N SEEK

While waiting in a 10 man lobby Me, Brick, Zenon, Ctark and others played a game of hide n seek on Inferno, we found the idea very intersting and fun. So we played on a custom Hide n seek map i had found on the workshop then Travesty had told us that splewis had a server that was implamented with plugins designed for hide n seek. We played around for a while and then started talking about the idea becoming a sG server. Hide n Seek is like ZE where the seeker is like the zombie and the survivors the hider just without guns.

The Basic idea would be that The Seekers (Cts) and Hiders(Ts) would spawned in the map with 1 Smoke, 1 Decoy, 1, Molly, and 1 Flash. The use of guns would be prohibited by any team. Seekers are blinded and frozen for 30-60 seconds before being released. Hiders are allowed anywhere other than map exploits, glitches, or outisde bounderies. Teamwork such as boost (including run boost) are allowed. The additon of flashlights would be very helpful for dark corners, rooms, etc. All players also have 1000 in-game dollars to use in the shop anywhere on the map for purchase of nades on the go. There should be secret vents, teleporters, and tunnels scattered through out the map. Use of nades include throwing them at enemies to slow them down, as they studder do to being damaged much like being slowed on JB when FF is turned on in the Ct team. Hiders are not allowed to fight back in any other than with mollys in burning and deterring the enemy away. High Explosive grenades are not allowed for use. Seekers can only use mollys and knives to kill hiders. Any other death or damage to a hider such as a High explosive grenade or gun is slayable. Repeat offenders would be temp source banned in such a way as TTTgo in Karma.

Note: This post may be a little sloppy and may miss out on some details as on my first attempt to post this my computer crashed before i could submit it.

Edit: We found that a 3:5 Seeker and Hider Ratio worked out very well. Having alltalk made things very interesting and in my opinon fun

Played it on splewis's server a long time ago its fun for about an hour then it gets old. Don't think it'd be easy to populate either.

Could be cool to maybe have on minigames etc if that were possible but as a server itself the mode wouldn't be able to attract enough regulars to be sustainable.

Hide and Seek is pretty fun on gmod, I think the damage per missed bullet plugin could easily be implemented. Server population wouldn't be an issue if we basically ported the entire game over from gmod: hide and seek is pretty popular still, sometimes.
