The Dutch law for weed is pretty weird. 

 

Coffeeshops can't buy weed, but can sell it under a certain set of rules. Weed just appears in the drawers. 

 

Me buying weed is illegal but tolerated. 

 

Recently the government implemented a new law where purchasing items like lamps,pots, or soil can be illegal if the retailer knows I'm using it to grow weed. 

 

The government tolerates me owning 5 grams / 5 plants, it's illegal but tolerated, but if I tell the guy selling me soil that i'm using it for weed, we could both get jail time.
