I am thinking about getting a car, The choice is between a 1997 mod Mitshubishi Pajero(montero) and a 2002 mod opel Vectra.

 

The car will be used daily and for long rides, Im looking at the Pajero for the space and Vectra for the comfort. Anything I should think about?

Pajero sounds too much like pajaro, so based on this observation, I'm going to have to say pick the Opel vectra.

In my opinion the vectra is good, looks good etc.

But in personal experience pajero are very good cars and durables.

I think when the time comes I will probably choose the pajero for the offroad capabilities, will be nice here in Norway.

I can't say i've ever come across an opel in person, but I believe it's a GM product. Check for recalls.

In general, Opel sucks. People have to go back to the dealer within the first year of purchase to repair it. Same goes for the french cars.

I will probably get the Pajero then, seems to be a pretty sturdy car.
