Those of you getting cod4 thru alternative ways you may find problems with punkbuster and cracked servers as I've found out first hand tonight.

1. Make sure pb is installed and UPDATED *google for pbupdate.exe*

2. I read vista has some problems with punkbuster and they have to run the iw3mp.exe in winxp sp2 compatibility mode

3. Make sure it use the keygen for your key and not one in nfo or whatever

4. Type "pb_security 0" in console

5. Theres some cracked version of pb that you could find thru google

Anyways before i did any of the above I believe i got perma banned from the server but I havent tried to connect again yet but i have connected to other cracked servers fine after doing the above.

Hey dude, wassup, I saw you trying to join last night. I think what happened here is that, first of all, your PB wasn't working right, and secondly, when it said you were banned it was prolly b/c someone used your cd key to hack, just change it, which you can do from the options menu.

Yea its all good i used public cdkey at first which is why i got banned. I also didnt have pb installed but it let me turn it on anyways.. somehow but everything working out fine now i joined and played with myself on the server.

You should seriously think about buying it. It's such a good graphic. I don't play it alot because the servers that are on the internet the rules is not followed alot like spawncamping and such.

I already have it for Xbox 360 thats why. I would've bought it if i didn't have it tho.. I bought it cause most of my freinds had it for 360 too
