So the destiny alpha is out and a bunch of people are already playing, i was wondering if anyone in sG is playing besides me and if so what are you rolling

It's looks good but honestly so far most of what I've seen reminds me of borderlands with a more Sci Fi than western feeling. Is that how it plays?

no borderlands is nothing like destiny, the only similarity i can see is they both have guns and they both have skills, besides that nothing.

I hit 8 awhile ago the alpha cap is 8 and they start you at lvl 3. The Alpha is basically 1 zone sand box.

I bought it but after watching livestreams hype kinda died. Basically the whole campaign aspect is the same as beta. Kill little guys then a boss battle that is the same throughout the game...

From the early impressions reviewers are posting I get the impression the games technically impressive but they all seem to agree the game dosent have the spark that takes a game from being technically sound to a masterpiece. Overall I get the impression the game was a little overhyped. Looks fun but alot of the game play I've seen consisted of "see enemy, shoot, cover so health recharges, shoot, repeat"

It's definitely on my list of games to get tho. Along with shadow of mordor. I won't have my ps4 while at college tho so I'm gonna be seriously limited as to what games I'll be able to play

Yeah don't buy it if you dont have a reason too it isn't amazing. It's been overhyped just wait and look at the reviews when they come out I assure you they will be far from perfect.

Comes free with the xbox 1 i ordered, but from what I seeing from the internets backlash, Destiny is just a prettier version of borderlands, without the fun, but I'll see for myself.
