Did JB change ports?

Yesterday I was playing JB then restarted CSGO and couldn't rejoin, gave me some "This session has expired" message all day.

 

Then today I didn't even see it on my favourites so I wen't here and grabbed the IP to compare it to the one I had.

 

My old favourite link used 27016, now I'm using 27015. Did something change on this end or did something weird happen on my end?

It's a bug related to the method we used to change people's favorite IP to our new IP when we switched hosts (combined with a bug with some other software we use that for some unknown reason uses port 27016 if port 27015 is unavailable and another bug which causes it to think port 27015 is unavailable). If you leave it for a few hours it should change back, or you can manually do it.

And it doesn't switch back? How often does it happen?

I don't know if it is exactly the same problem but every day after a while of playing I get randomly disconnected and can't reconnect, not even after restarting csgo/steam and than after a while it just works again and the cycle continues.

That sounds more like the problem where when steam goes down and comes back up, you can't connect to the servers until they are restarted.

A lot of people use the joinsg.net favourite maybe? Instead of the direct IP?

The way SRCDS works is if another server is still up on 27015, OR, if it can't bind to 27015 for any reason, instead of not starting, and warning you, it will automatically go up a port, and try again.  If you don't catch it, it could be on 27016 until the next stop/start is done.  The only reason this isn't a bigger issue, is because of persistent favorites, but it's still hella annoying.

So in JB right now I had a player telling me they're getting the same error that I got yesterday.

 

I told them to try the two different ports, 15 and 16 and it didn't help them. Steam status seems to be ok.

 

If it helps at all, there have been no Case or Weapon Skin drops in JB for the past 4 maps now.

They did just update, and if you haven't been kicked out of game yet, you probably will be soon.

 

PS. Buy up all the m4 howl's as they got in trouble for copyright issues and there will be no more.

I'm having the same problem, I've always used port 27015 and now im trying to use port 27016. Port 27016 doesn't even work at all, it just has a blank loading screen. And port 27015, when i join it it says "Session is no longer avaliable" Help Please..?

Ah yeah this particular problem beedon (ranger) looks like a CSGO update so just wait for servers to be updated

Ok so it just happened again, 

Everything was working fine and suddenly disconnect and can't reconnect. It was just after I used an admin command but i dont know if that is rellevant.

I tried port 15 and 16 and jb.joinsg.net and nothing works.
