King1Arthur 197 Posted May 28, 2014 I got a bike before I got a car. I had an Kawasaki 250. I loved it so much. If you're going to be getting a bike first you MUST have a car you can barrow. I got my bike and rented my parents car until I had enough to buy a car. Getting a bike first is great because you can get it paid off really fast. Starting with a 250 is good. It is not too dangerous. I fell twice on my 250 but thanks to me not going crazy fast I was ok both times. If you can't barrow a car in bad weather you should get a car first.
