CSGO Update 2014/01/23

- Fixed an alt-tab related memory leak.

 

- Added ability for mouse wheel to scroll Friends Lister.

 

- The voice chat button in the lobby (microphone) now stores it's state from session to session.

 

- Fixed HUD disappearing when alt-tabbing or starting another app (like hlmv).

 

Is anyone else super excited for this shit? Been PAINFUL for a bit

That scrolling the friends list thing is a big improvement. Anytime I wanted to add sg members I had to click like 20 times. That shit was annoying.

I always use the numpad to buy weapons. It's way faster than clicking through menus.

As for the issue where the cursor disappears, I have that problem as well. I found a way to circumvent that on a Mac. While in CS, I use my hotcorner that throws all my open programs off my desktop, then use it again to bring them back. This gives me a regular desktop cursor on my CS (instead of the CS cursor). That cursor then works on my CS. I don't know if PCs have hotcorners, but if they do, you should give that a try.

I have issues with the entire main menu going blank. You'll see the background, but no mouse or anything else, but you can hear the GUI 'ticking" as you mouseover the buttons. AFAIK I've had this glitch happen since the game came out.
