Im a little confused what you're asking here...

what cpu/gfx/psu do you have currently?

How much are you willing to spend?

video card is #1 for performance, you should throw as much money as you can on one

Except that that's already 3x the cost of what he is currently buying with almost nothing left for a decent motherboard/processor. Although your graphics card is kinda low with the 9000 series coming out in a few months.

My question is are you going to stick with AMD for the processor or not?

I would personally go with intel. There is probably a good combination of an i5 and a motherboard for around 350 if I am not mistaken.

Just wait and buy the parts online, you're going to pay so much more for so much less going to Best Buy. I'm also pretty sure your CPU would throttle that GPU, not 100% though.

$550 for a solid setup
