I'll admit that I don't always buy games first, but if I like the game or if I finish it feeling satisfied I definitely pay for it.I'd love to support small groups of developers who need it, but giant corporations that make money either way I really don't give a fuck about paying for it, hence why I edited my first post after thinking about it again. Additionally, some games nowadays are developed by small teams and published by big companies. No sales could mean a pay cut or the shuttering of the studio.
