That wasn't my idea, my idea was to make it apply to non-damage skills, and then add another separate item to prevent some amount (probably 25 or 50%) of damage skills.

Now I understand, I'd be okay with that also as long as the costs are appropriate of course

 

Alistair has 100% magic immunity (and ult immunity) and it's not that OP.

But making it also immune to bash, shake, drug on top of all of that when you can put it on a lot of races is.

Glockness Monster ultimate doesn't have the right scaling per point, or the text is off (Ultimate damage scales up by 5% each point instead of the text's 20%-100%). Also, most of the players agree that a slight tone-down of the max level would make the race a bit better in terms of maxing it out and being comparable.

i agree that the ult is bugged/text is wrong. i think the levels are fine. class is strong as fuk imo.

it gets dumped on constantly already, and I was the only person to really successfully whore it in CSS. Even a drop to 40 would drastically improve the race.  With such a big handicap and with how much armor absorbs glock shots, pushing a max to 60 effectively cripples you until you hit level 40+

Meanwhile Nature Wisp caps out at 70 and people think it's OP

On which race? Some it won't work on yet because they directly freeze the player instead of using the buff correctly.

The text is off, I lowered it from 100 to 50 after going 10-1 on it.

Enchanted chainmail almost completely negates the ultimate save for headshots, not even pointing at the amount of time it's going to take to level it to 60 just to get bent over by a $1000 necessity item

I managed to hit someone for 147 in a single armored headshot (with double damage). Are you really getting 78 damage on ultimate headshots now?

Everything there is calculated via the wiki's hitbox damage table, also leaving out the claws of attack which seemed to be affected by the ult in CS:S. There could be a variance in damage for whatever reason, but the wiki's math shows that unless you get a headshot, the ult does pretty much nothing

I'm saying either the wiki isn't right, or 100% extra damage is actually more like 200% extra damage, because I got more damage than that wiki's numbers say i should be able to.

I'm seeing different damage figures on a ton of different websites, so it's likely a range and not a static number

I'm finding glockness pretty underwhelming, it could also be just me with this race. I know I suck at shooting sometimes, but seeing an average of 15 damage per shot is just lame. Unless you're excellent at head shots

Played glockness and been played against by glockness and I can confirm its a solid, powerful race. Should see players at level 25+ on the race doing 1.5+ kdr

I think the people you played with were Bink, Sneaky, and myself, who are already the 3 highest level glockness atm (from what I can see). We all agree that either an increase in ult damage is in order or max level needs to be dropped. Any race with an SMG or rifle will dump on glockness repeatedly. Also, the three of us fall under the "able to aim" category most of the time.

 

I'm not saying it's a terrible race, but it's becoming very item-heavy in order to hold its own. I have to buy claws/chainmail every round along with armor, just to be able to go toe-to-toe with most races and have a chance at surviving

I played Glockness today and wrecked on nuke. It's a very strong race. Mine's only mid-20s, with no points in ult, and I went 30-8. 25% bash is ridiculous, the constant lifesteal is ridiculously powerful, and having to buy claws/chainmail is "item-heavy"? They cost 2k combined and you're using a pistol race with no need to buy guns. Glockness is fine.

Playing some more today, armor + chainmail + claws is pretty much required imo if you want kills. At least armor and chainmail so you can survive, I'd say it "requires" items to be viable. Luckily they're cheap enough to afford. Either that or my aiming/team comp was much better today.
